(SG) Gaia's Depths (Chapter 1: Entrance)
« on: August 27, 2014, 08:19:36 pm »

"Children, children! Settle now. I have a wondrous tale to tell you all, one of dangers fought and immense treasure found..."
"Now, to begin this tale is about a single hero and their thirst for adventure. This thirst led them to a great cavern system known to all as 'Gaia's Depths'. Some say that the Predecessors themselves manufactured it themselves with their grow affinities for digging, and that they made structures inside the depths with a material stronger than any iron.
"Finally, we begin. Our hero is...

So, let's do a fantasy adventure game to do in addition to Obsidian City! Simply put, I will be using Battle for Wesnoth in order to produce the game's images. it turns out that there is no reliable way to take screenshots that don't require tons of editing. So no ISG. But hey, TSG instead right?

Name: Jaine
Ancestors: Undead
Stats: 5 points to spend, max subtracting 2 from any skill
- Strength 4 +/- 0
- Toughness 4 +/- 0
- Agility 4 + 1
- Charisma 4 + 1
- Willpower 4 + 3

I assume "max subtracting 2 from any skill" means we can subtract at most 2 points from any stat to use on a different stat.

Science is always important. But it needs more flaming cats. Can't we build bridge-based catapults and fling flaming cats at the dust and goo?

It's time for the ATHATH Death Counter to increase once more in celebration for the end of the world.

That's true.

...Jaine Doe, an undead with unusually high willpower but otherwise pretty average for one of its kind. Specifically, she was...

...a ghost.
...a walking corpse.

whats the difference between a manifested shade. and ...a ghost.?
(i vote for the manifested shade, just for the novelty of it)

Hell if I know.  Pretty humourous suggestion, but utterly useless in the case of roleplaying, if indeed the whole game world was one whole huge ass field of fruit.

A manifested shade will be more grounded into the physical world than a ghost, for better or for worse. Oh, and I did not forget about this game. At all. Nope. :-[
Btw, what color do you want Jaine to be?

...a manifested shade. A ghost more grounded in our realm than others, and while it still has less access to magic than a regular ghost, it still has better potential than most humans and even some elves. Food for thought, if you didn't know that beforehand. Now, where shall we begin our story... Ah, here, at an old entrance to the caverns, built by the dwarves, occupied now by a band of bandits. And so, chapter one has begun.

To the north is the entrance and a wolf, and to the east there seems to be a ruined cabin.

Pink glow, suckers!

The cabin obviously has a rich story to tell. Check it out.
