However, as she tries to pat its head the wolf jumps back and growls.
It then turns tail and flees. The wolf has now disappeared into the surrounding woods.
To the northeast is the entrance.

They do not notice her looking in.

Jaine takes up a nearby rock and chucks it at the gate.
The rock lands a solid hit on the metal work and the two bandits startle.
One falls over in surprise, and the other grabs up his spear before heading to the entrance.

The one with the spear reaches the gate and begins looking for anything suspicious.
Instantly, he spots Jaine's fading form standing off to the side a bit back.

"H-hey! Marko, git up! There's a ghostly feller over there. Ya think 'e made dat noise?"
The other goon, Marko, recovers and stands up.
"Eh? Whatchya goin' on about? No such thing as gho- oh. Oh, that looks very much like a ghost. But it couldn't 'ave made that noise yeah? It's all the way over there!

But it's all magic and crap! It could mebbe do anything!
The two continue to argue over what Jaine is and what caused the noise.
They don't seem to be paying much attention to her now.
