One where we could build a mobile death fortress.  You know, for defensive purposes.

Maybe realistic flowing lava and water as well, so we could build a more effective magma cannon.

Then you want 1.8 so we can have sky ships and self propelled missiles.

Only two problems with those.  One is that they take a moderately large amount of resources to make.  Second is they can't move left, right, or backwards.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Just make sure your enemies are standing in front of you when you fire :P

Could find a server that uses Flan's Mod.  Have to stick with 1.7.10, but hey, giant mechs and a ton of other vehicles.

I'd prefer a vanilla server, because FPS (and I don't feel like learning a giant new system.) A vanilla server's more likely to have a population too, in my experience.

Well, there are a few nice tekkit servers like This one (1.2.9F and when I tested it there were only 18 people on.), most of them seem to be using 1.2.9E though a few are different, I was kind of disappointed when I saw there wasn't many TPPI servers.
There does appear to be a few nice FTB ones, however, like The Serendipity Network(Keep in mind I don't actually use FTB so I'm just going on the highest rated ones.).
Course, I understand how someone would want a vanilla one, so.... Pffff, just saw a server that touted unlimited item spawning for a survival survivor server.

Actually, before I search any further, what would everyone's general amount of players be?

The reason that vanilla/lightly modded is good is that us 32-bit people can run it.

As for player amount, it would probably be good if we don't totally overwhelm them.

Okay then, no technic pack mods.
Anyway, if we don't totally overwhelm them and also go vanilla (Feel free to look for a FTB mod pack with a very small amount of mods), then that's a pretty good amount of servers to choose from, there is Blight PvP, I've checked and it has about 17 players on, it does require you to post your username on the forum page here to get citizen rank, so that's something.
Thoughts on that one?
