I foolishly tried to connect to the server through Minecraft PE. Disappointment insued. *Sigh* I'll keep trying...
Minecraft PE is an entirely different version of Minecraft. You can't connect to PC servers with it.

He needs an axe! Or some other weapon, I guess.

Anyway I'm moving tomorrow, so I probably won't do much beyond keep up with the thread for a few days.

Try magma or flaming netherrack for the eyes.

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

It was lava before, btw.

Finished up the exteriors of all the Tier 3 housing.  Need to finish the interiors.  Town hall is finished up.  After I finish up the interiors, I would like for people to at least claim a house to claim and make look somewhat inhabited.  At very least for the city to appear to be where we live, tricking people into thinking the canal leads to a mineshaft rather than our main fort.

In other news, I have drained the temp storeroom dry of cobblestone.

When I logged on just now, there was a guy named lostgrifhalo within chat range. It seems he's a hermit living at the south pole, but this is the first time I've seen him talk, so he's probably not too active.

He's not hurtin' anything, he just wants seclusion. As long as he doesn't try to make us leave he's fine by me. Maybe we could talk him into allowing official visits to his hermitage.

Hooliganinthefort is a Bay Watcher, though.
We don't know if he really is hooligan, unforunately. He may just be using that as a disguise to gain entry >.<
