Fuschia began to pile food onto her plate, when she had amassed a small heap of various different kinds she looked across the room. She frowned as she noticed that most of the tables had people on, having no particular desire to socialise at this moment she chose one of the less crowded tables. Sitting a couple of spaces away from John, Mimu and the rest.

Dag distracts Dave with small talk and slowly reaches for the book.

All the color has drained from Mimu's face as she stares at the pile of food someone just took and began eating. Her parents had told her how Tokans had different tongues then they did so the food they ate tasted good to them, but it was still a little shocking.

John sighs before getting up and going to get some random food. He sits down now with three plates of random portions of food.

All the color has drained from Mimu's face as she stares at the pile of food someone just took and began eating. Her parents had told her how Tokans had different tongues then they did so the food they ate tasted good to them, but it was still a little shocking.

Fuschia paused for a moment as she noticed Mimu staring at her food, she frowned deeply and for a moment one of her vines sneaked out from behind her fringe.
"What are you looking at?"

((Oh dear. Mimu is gonna have a stroke when she sees my guy eat))
Matthew picks up his burger and devours it at an almost absurd pace. He leans back in his seat and looks around some more.

Mimu faints. So much horrible tasting food getting eaten in front of her was ridiculous!

Dag's hand is on the book. Grasping it very gently...

Fuschia stared at the unconscious body of Mimu for a second, then she simply shrugged and turned her attention back to her meal.

John looks between the girl on the floor and the food. He takes his food and goes to throw it away.

Matthew heads over to Mimu, then takes a knee while he decides what to do.

Dag is approached by the woman with glasses.

"You wouldn't happen to be doing anything, would you?"

Meanwhile, the headmaster is standing in the middle of the dining hall, which consists of dozens of half-donut tables assembled around a podium, with kitchens off to the side.

"Time to go over some ground rules, I think. One; do as campus staff tell you. It's better and safer for everyone this way. Two; respect the campus, the staff, and other students. This mean no fighting, discriminatory statements, or stealing. The other rules are pretty general things, we'll worry about those later.

Now, onto that bit about dorms. Each room holds four people, and you can decide who you bunk with. People with special requirements for diet or living quarters, see the staff off to the side."

A staff member looks over Mimu, wondering what's wrong with her.

John holds up his hand.

"Yes, you have a question?"

"Is this food poisoned? Because when I walked over to that girl over with a few plates she fainted."
John points to Mimu.
