By the looks of it, Louis didn't actually bother bringing in an exercise book or any facsimile thereof. Instead, he seems to be typing his notes into his school ID at a marginally faster rate than usual and sending it to himself.

Oliver is also working.
He appears to be able to levitate small objects in a stationary position and elevation while doing other things, as his ungrounded eraser so kindly demonstrates.

Every few minutes or so, though, it falls to the floor, and he stops working momentarily to replace it.
