Matthew turns towards the staff member.
"She was sipping water, then she just passed out."
His voice is quiet, but has a hint of power to it as well.

Talkin to this guy, he says, moving his hand off the book to clap Dave on the back.

Mimu is still unconscious.

"I'm afraid it isn't, but some people have... unique circumstances involving their enrollments, and they can be easily stressed."

The rest of the students are talking with a low chatter.

"Good to know."

A staff member scoops Mimu up, and takes her over to the nurse's office.

John nods before deciding to be cautious and looking for nutrient paste.

Mimu wakes up after a few minutes and bolts upright with panic, looking around fearfully at everything around her. What kind of place was this!?

John finds a single tube.


Mimu is greeted by a beautiful woman, sitting quietly in the chair next to her.

"It seems you passed out. Do you know why?"


Slabs of what seem like plastic are handed out to the students.

"We are handing out ID cards, which contain some personal information about you. You'll need to keep those on your person 24/7, as they open most of the doors in the Academy, including your dorms, and some of the leisure activities."

Mimu slowly shakes her head, staring at the woman with uncertainty and nervousness... Could she say why without being judged by Humans? Hunted or killed by them just as her kind had been by the Tokan's?

Fuschia continued eating her meal ignoring the other people around her, she looked up slightly though as the headmaster began to speak. She paused for a moment as she heard about the dorms and then let out a small sigh. She violently stabbed the next portion of her dinner and put it into her mouth.

A small, thin looking girl with long hair and navy eyes quietly walks into the room. She has a navy tattoo on her chest and is wearing a coat as she walks in, her glance shifted to the ground. She has the ID card on. It says her name - Ryuka Keane.

John sighs and grabs it before grabbing his ID. He looks for where it attaches to his skin, at least, that's what it looks like he's doing.

Matthew takes an ID, and heads back to the lunchtime for more food.
He checks what it says as he goes there.

Fuschia eventually went to get her own ID card, as she walked back she glanced at it wondering what exactly it said.

Inno looks around as it grabbed it's ID card. He was certainly the odd ball of the group, that was for sure

The woman smiles reassuringly.

"Ah, you are shy. Do not be afraid if you are sort of different, many of us here are."

She demonstrates by transforming her hands into icy claws, and back again.


The headmaster demonstrates what the card can do, including showing a map of the academy by pressing a rune on the side.

"So, I think that's most of the basics, ask me, or any of the staff, if you need more information. You have the rest of the day to explore the school, and to decide who you are sharing your dorms with."
