Out in the hall a tentacle wraps around N and pulls him back into the room.

Inside Chief has removed his helmet to reveal a face that everyone would regconise for different reasons. People who could watch the news and use the internet would recgonise one of the Northsdale Five. People who were locked up by IRIS would remember Kyle who could be seen inspecting various defensive measures with Uncle. To either group he looks unhappy. Oh, and the tentacle is coming from his back.

N sighs. "Destiny says no apparently. Well, what is it?" he spreads his arms wide.

"They're that thing that all sentient creatures have one of? If you eat them they make you really strong, but you end up constantly craving more and more, and it makes your own soul all messed up and ewww and stuff."
I hop up and down once, this time gravity seems to work normally on me

Akia sits, perched on the refrigerator and waiting for the sandwich he had asked for to be made by the kitchen staff. He knows he should be elsewhere, he knows he has a meeting to attend~ And he is completely ignoring that~ Food always comes first~

"You expect me to 'Hug it out' with a creature that just now admitted to being capable of soul consumption?  Perhaps you should get your helmet's oxygen filters checked."  He turns to the Kitsune, "I don't like you or your kind.  If it comes down to it I will try my hardest to end you.  But since this task force is already looking like a suicide squad, I don't think that this issue will matter in the end.  He turns back to Chief, "That is the best I can do given what she is." he glances around and looks confused for a moment, "Wasn't there supposed to be one more of us?

Noticing the new person wandering into the room and nomming the sandwich guts, Akia glomps.

I stand perfectly still while the meth addict is speaking, and for a couple moments after he is done.

I then slowly turn to face him, unclench my fists, get a slightly wicked smile, and start chuckling for two seconds before adopting a *perfectly innocent* smile and saying
