Sorry for Double post. I'm in now on Salphira if you guys need an invite, Msg Aj. The queue is an hour plus to log in at the moment, so go make dinner while you wait!

Before anyone gripes though, remember that they can't merge servers like in other mmos, so they have to play it safe with server numbers at launch.

Hows the guild population on Salphira?

We picked Kyrios because of the huge guild population

More than decent. We allied with several east guilds, and the west has a few good guilds. There are about 6 guilds named laughing coffin tho.

My guild owns 4/5 houses on freeditch. our ally owns the 5th.

We've got Fairy Tale, Knights of the Blood Oath, and Akatsuki over here, I'm sure there are others but i haven't kept much of an eye on the random guilds

Hack Shield seems to be a huge pain in the ass. I was able to lauch ArcheAge successfully once, seeing the over hour long queue of 2000 people, and not again after that. Hack Shield also seems to run my hard drive pretty hard, to the point of audibly buzzing in a recognizable pattern, as if stuck in a loop until I restart my computer. Definitely getting Trion on this one.

Astral, that's weird you're having these problems. Which version of windows are you using and are you sure it's HackShield? It might be anti-virus software, or maybe your rig just isn't powerful enough for dx11 (dx11 has a memory leak and is poorly optimized). Try changing the client to dx9. Some people with lots of ram have also been using RAM disks and running Archeage from it.

Cripes is the community on Aranzeb awful. My friends apparently unwittingly picked the server that houses not just Goon Squad but a few other guilds renowned for griefing. Western continent faction chat is filled with trolls 24/7. PVP grief squads are present from Cinderstone and beyond, making leveling past 30 veeeeeerry annoying, and I don't think I've managed to plant a single "hidden" farm that hasn't been 100% uprooted (at 10x the labor it cost me to plant it, no less) within a few hours. I can't wait until Trion release character transfers so I can flee this god-forsaken server and find a better one. I didn't even manage to snag any decent land (just a scarecrow right by the traders in Lilyut) so it's not as if there's much tying me here besides my friends, and they too are getting fed up with the incessant griefing. One of them actually trusted Goon Squad to sell them a plot of land for 200g, despite my warnings. Needless to say, they got scammed.

I rolled an alt on Inoch when it first went up and secured some very nice real estate right on the Two Crowns beach, so I'll probably be headed there, but jeez. Was not expecting Aranzeb to go this poorly.

Would be nice to have a character move option

If for whatever reason Inoch doesn't workout your welcome to join us on Kyrios

Even with Kyrios being one of the largest servers there's still plenty of land

Quote from: Review
..."Alpha, five betas, and release have clearly demonstrated that Trion doesn't care about anything but grabbing as much cash as they can before the game dies under their maladministration so they don't have to pay server upkeep. "

Also between Ascention and Swiggity Swooty I haven't seen many other guilds Catside.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I'll be playing on european servers, but from what I read from buyers that spent the last 4 days playing, all the properties in nearly every server (except the one that got up monday) are already taken o_O

That's what i thought as well, but last night me and my buddy were exploring and found a huge chunk of land that had all of 2 houses on it, all the small plot locations are probably taken but that zone was for the 100 star plots

I'll be making a character on Inoch, Kyrios was too crowded for my liking for now.

@ mookzen: nah, you just need to know what you're doing with it. people try to do things like battle+sorc+vitalism, and think they are a main dps/healer.

@ Ygdrad: Why not join us on salphira?
