Mercia...21,33 was a territory I was getting from a trade.  I hadn't gotten it yet since I was claiming other territories.  So would you kindly get the hell out of it?

Sorry Wales, did not know that. I can't actually give up tiles, but if you want to conquer it, I won't take offense or anything.

His rules for trading don't allow trading of terrain, cities or armies.

Spoiler: 853 AD (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Battle Log (click to show/hide)

Ireland builds docks in New York, preparing for emigration should the harvests continually fail. Northumbria loses Castertcliff to the Welsh, as the new king, Rędwulf, huddles in Whitehaven. The Picts continue to recruit among the disparate clans for more men to fight the southborn foes. Armies march in Wessex as Egbert II devises new strategies to beat the Mercians.

The siege of Birmingham was short lived. The Mercian's were eager to retake their city, though the men of Wessex had the advantage of position behind the city's high walls. The finest men of Birmingham, still emboldened by their killing of King Egbert, cried out insults to the knights behind the gate. These knights would have none of this and charged headlong into the flurry of arrows, intent on running down the king slayers. The knights were cut down and without them, the poorly-trained bowmen on the walls were no match for the Mercian Home Guard, veterans of many a battle. With a triumphant roar, the men of Birmingham liberated their home town. But the war was not yet over...

On a whim, I decided to name various units after Cyngen's sons.  Should provide you with a couple more opportunities for fluff.
