It got mentioned a few times previously when I argued for things and was then told I was stopping it from being a challenge.

The games not going to be fun if you can win it blindfolded.

I'm not asking for that. I just don't want to play a game where I can't fulfill my goals because I keep getting assaulted even when I'm incognito.

I didn't mean it'd attack us specifically I meant it'll make attacks on everybody, all 500,000 of us. Not at once obviously but it should keep attacking us and keep pressure on the players as a whole.

Hey now. I've played a game where the AI didn't cheat, and it was still challenging.

The AI had to follow the exact rules that the player does, including a limited field of view.

But that AI was just making a game that would take time to beat.

This AI is literally fighting for it's life, if we win it dies so it's going to throw everything but the outhouse at us. Besides we have certain advantages that it doesn't have like the ability to build fortifications and defensive weaponry.
It can spawn as many armies as it wants but it can only use what's in the game. We can create new things to help.

It can do exactly what we can though. And I still don't think it should attack players because... It's an MMO. You don't win MMOs. You reach the end. If someone could win WoW for example don't you think they would have by now? We're the only real targets here, not the other boring people.

SAO disagrees. I'm not entirely certain, but I think EverQuest also disagrees.
And the other 'boring' people are also targets. They're also people that could potentially be stronger than you.
Keep that in mind.

Everquest doesn't disagree and SAO is a horrible example of an MMO.

And why do the other people know about the virus and stuff anyways? We're supposed to be on some kind of secret mission type thing and everyone knowing isn't very secret.

It make more sense than everyone knowing about the virus, that's for sure.

And if everyone knew it'd be killed so many times over it wouldn't even be funny.
