That microwave is going to make close quarters no problem also, nice for stealthy assassinations.

On people maybe, but most mech armor tends to reflect it. It's going to fool their targeting, disrupt their electronics, but it's unlikely to kill.

Well the disruption of electronics is the point, if they can't fight back well, then I can laser them in the face.

Excellent! My extra Extra is... (43) Active Camouflage with what I assume is the generator mounted on the... (75) torso. Barely.

Fun fact of the day. Each armor type and ammunition type actually matters.

I did loose the distinction between different types of legs though. I had no way to fit that into the mechanics.

Q: How does the energy forcefield function (descriptively or mechanically)?

Could do:
Bipedial: fast, higher dodge chance
Triped: more stability/quicker rotation okayish speeds, hard to stand if fallen and no arms.
Quadri: very fast/more stable then tri, higher dodge chance.
Hexi: less recoil/very stable/more accuracy, slow.
Octo:  same as hexi but better and very slow.

And another question: What the crap does a Hive do?

Q: How does the energy forcefield function (descriptively or mechanically)?
It's a Plasma window. Capable of blocking small projectiles, diffusing energy weaponry, and completely isolating the mech from the outside environement. It's a powerhog though, so you can't run it 24/24.

Could do:
Bipedial: fast, higher dodge chance
Triped: more stability/quicker rotation okayish speeds, hard to stand if fallen and no arms.

I actually have effects for the that. I meant that things like ditigrade and elephantine feet won't do anything.

The Nanoswarm Hive is a system of many small nanorobots, which will be used dynamically to defend your mech. They're quite versatile, being capable of forming into solid slabs in mid air to deter kinetic attacks, diffusing energy attacks, or disarming missile weaponry in mid flight.

The amount of nanites you have is limited, and fire, explosions and energy weaponry will rapidly deplete them.

Couldn't certain feet type provide slight modifiers to movement or stability or similar things? I don't really remember what each form means, but I would assume that it varies.

I suppose they could, but there's a point where those small boni simply aren't worth the effort anymore.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Also, could you let us know how many personal traits we each get?

2,3,3,4,2,2

I think that's about right. Feel free to disagree.

So I got a second? Hmm.. Gonna go with a power output bonus, I think, I feel like my lasers will be draining a lot of power..

Edited, little different then original bonus idea.

By the way, I was looking through the chosen mechs, and I noticed a couple got sat uplink but forgot to roll for their secondary optic that it gives.
