ICARUS, for all her exasperation, wades into melee as she can. [8 v. (6)] [16+4 v. (12)] And she actually manages to cut fairly deeply into the beast, dealing 8 damage!

In response Bahamut lets out another deafening roar, this time loud enough to break glass, as it leaps into the air, reaching out to try and slap ICARUS into the newly appearing Ashley with it's tail. [(15) v. 16, 13] [(23) v. 9] ICARUS manages, barely, to avoid getting hit by the flying metal, but the force of it's passage leaves her tumbling in air, and Ashley is still struck by the oncoming blow, taking 14 damage! The creature disappears suddenly, those who are looking in the right direction can see it appear in the same moment behind the group surrounding Kyle, still tangled up with Stella, as it unleashes a sudden burst of noise so loud the shockwave itself is visible. [(10) v. 10, 6, 1(!), 10, 3, 9+1] Winry, Kyle, and Walpurga all manage to come out much less scathed, disoriented and deafened but mostly unharmed. Alice, Sen, and the Shadow, on the other hand, are less lucky. The wave of sonic energy slams into them, [(31) v. 5, 1(!), 20] dealing 26, 30, and 11 damage to them, respectively. Sen is also knocked unconscious and tossed halfway across the town, having taken the brunt of the blast at point blank range, which may be what saved the others. In any case, none of the affected individuals is likely to be much good for the foreseeable future(-3 to all rolls, 1 turn, then -1 to all rolls, 1 turn; penalties halved rounding down for def/res rolls), and Alice and the Shadow are having trouble doing much of anything (Stunned/-4 to all rolls, 1 turn, then -2 to all rolls, 1 turn; penalties halved (rounding down) for defense/resistance rolls). But the Bahamut is already moving on, teleporting again to land in the midst of everyone, and issuing forth a series of forcefields that crash against everything in the area, forcing it back and away. [(14) v. 5-4, 4, 7, 8, 14+1-3, 7, 6, 8-5, 12, 6-3, 2-4, 15] Only ICARUS manage to stay near the monstrosity, taking cover behind a section of wall that manages to stay just barely intact enough for her to stand her ground without being blasted. Everyone else is struck, the forcefields driving them away from Bahamut, who takes the break as an opportunity to repair itself. [(13) v. 12, 4, 15+3, 3-1, 8+1-1, 9, 1+1, 10-1, 12, 6-2, 23-2] The Shadow is largely unaffected, barely even forced back, largely thanks to it's incorporeal state, while Stella clings on, her scales and proximity allowing her to weather the storm without losing anything more than a few scales. Mary, Garret, Winry, Walpurga, Ashley, Alucard, Kyle, Tobias, and Alice take 1, 9, 11, 5, 4, 11, 4, 1, and 9 damage, respectively, and get forced back from Bahamut. The creature seems to repair itself as you watch, growing slightly as it grabs a car and smashes it into it's wound, beginning to eat the metal.

Ashley shakes herself to clear her head, teleporting back into the fray and slashing at the beast with her special katana! [15 v. (8)] The creature seems marginally slower and weaker now!

Garrett boosts Stella's speed! (-2 mana)

Sen is unconscious!

Walpurga tries to use her telekinesis, even with a pounding migraine! [13] She manages to yank at one of the gatling guns! [11+1-3 v. (12)] It's servos keep it in place long enough for her to be unable to keep up the assault as the vessels of blood in her nose burst, blood spraying down the front of her uniform! She takes 1 damage from backfire!

Mary continues to charge Arcane Solstice!

Winry electrocutes Kyle! [auto-hit] [15 v. 9] Kyle takes 1 damage, and charges his laser for 5 damage!

Kyle fires his laser! [17! v. 16] By sheer luck, his shot hits the beast! [4+10 v. (13)] It doesn't seem to do much damage, though, scorching the armor plates for 1 damage.

Alucard is chargin' his Lazor! (-5 mana)

The Nomad lands safely, out of the way of the fighting. It could be a while before it's in working condition, though...

The Shadow is stunned!

Tobias has to take some time to get back into position to strike!

Kaiser is too far away to melt the Bahamut's legs, so runs to get closer!

Alice is stunned!

Stella rips and tears at the many guns attached to the creature! [3 v. (2)] She manages to grip one, both parties thrashing about, [3+5 v. (10)] but the metal is too tough for her to rip it apart!

Stella tries again, this time superheating her fangs as she does so

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Dalia is out of mana and is too far away from the battle to help. If she actually could help, of course. So instead she just fumes and goes into the kitchen to make some eggs. And maybe some other stuff too.

Kaiser expends all of his remaining mana to try and disassemble Bahamut's servos in a fit of destructive rage.

Garrett boosts Stella's speed by 4.

((Rolep, plz. A) You forgot that Walpurgas equipment, the god-hand gloves add +2 to magic rolls, and that smurf patched how magical damage works, so her attack being a major magic spell also adds 80% (14 in this case) of mag to damage. So Bahamuts res roll was beaten, and it takes 13 damage.))

Alice let out a scream of pain as she was flung across the battlefield, the scream ended when she hit the ground. For a moment the world was black but then she opened her eyes, the world swam before her. The pain made it difficult to clear her mind but she began to crawl away, through the pain she just managed to cast a spell on herself. If the major cure wounds spell was successful, Alice would find the world wasn't as blurry as before.

Alucard continues to charge.

Winry buffs ICARUS with +4 STR!

Bartimaeus fires a big detonation.

Hilda's eyes glow their azure color again as she springs up and changes into BETA form. ((She has 20 SKILL, therefor a 10% chance to crit.))

Vaeros claws at the thing.

The Wizard summons an Earth Elemental.

The ghost fires a major blast of magic at it.

((That was a skill roll, Akroma.))

((It only has three AoE attacks, one of which is the flak barrage. :P Don't worry, it only used them because of the sheer number of PCs that started appearing. It'll go back to single target annihilation attacks soon enough.))

((It'll lose steam soon enough I think, but between Alucard and Mary, if you can get it's health just a bit lower, you should be able to take it down. I weakened it in some ways in realizing some of the stuff, like it's DR, was too much for you guys to really deal with.

((also, what's this stuff about crits and Wizards and ghosts where's the stats for them seriously))
