Kyle's begging for an asskicking is overshadowed by the arrival of the helicopters. SERT recognises who they belong to quite quickly.

The SERT gunships lay down long range fire before pulling back. One fires a gauss cannon at one of the helicopters, swotting it out of the air. Laser fire damages another helicopter, but it's flight remains stable. The mafia helicopter fleet lands at the base of the wreckage and Triad troops jump out, while SERT deploys their infantry near Talia.

"Good to hear, but the situation's getting nasty out here. Ma'am, we need to relocate now!"


The egg bursts, spraying bright green goop everywhere.

"Gross...but whatever was inside is dead now. Shoot more of them."

FUCK IT, LET'S GO WASTE SOME SONS OF BITCHES. GET AMONG THEM AND FUCK THEM UP.

Specifically, make use of that x2 damage (not x3, I remembered incorrectly previously) for tail and bite attacks. If I soak enough damage to reduce my DR, spend enough points to regen it to full (1 per point of DR lost, plus 2 MP each) as well as any actual damage suffered. Further mutations will be discussed upon waking if needed.

Kyle takes a pot shot at the SERT commander. [6]VS[11] He sees you taking aim and dodges the shot.

SERT and Triad ground forces engage. SERT has the upper hand, with heavy armor and support fire, but the Triad is slowly advancing towards Talia. Then Talia leaps out towards them.

((I've noticed a hitch in how this works, if an attack goes over the 10 + roll DR you can only raise only health or DT, not both. Fun.))

Stella takes a good amount of gunfire, slightly chipping her carapace. She quickly regenerates the armor and charges at the Triads, but they leap out of her path.
