Yes it does. The universe is in Creation. Void is not in the same realm let alone the same universe. It has no obligation to obey any laws of this universe.

That isn't conservation of energy as much as it's just draining magic from someone else.

Also, that takes place in this universe, one where such laws actually do apply to some extent.

The soul mill is not in this universe. It therefore does not need to obey this universe's laws.

Also, my lore on Fate does indeed state that anything that enters is irrecoverably erased from existence. Conservation of energy is not upheld.

Also why are you using conservation of energy as an argument when any energy that does get released is absorbed by the void entity? Even if it does apply, it won't raise any questions as to where the energy goes.
