I thought that summoning worked across planes? I mean, it's completely involuntary on Alucard's part on the sense that Bartimaeus is literally pulling his soul out of his body and giving it corpeal form in Creation.
But if you say no then it can't happen. Your lore takes precedence over a simple spell, and if you say no then I'll respectfully retcon Bartimaeus's action.

I guess only Bartimaeus can summon Alucard, else summoning humans is not something that usualy works, but bart and alucard are different.

else, I guess you can summon something that you know the true name off, or at least a name that is similar enough that it can cause a magic reaction

I mean, he could try, but basically Faerie is dimensionally walled off, only access is through specific gates. Even if it did work, It would probably involve Alucard tumbling backwards across the road they've been going down for however many magical number of miles they've been walking, back to the starting point, before being schlorped through. Plus they're currently under lockdown, even for them, but shhhhh spoilers.

But what I was saying before I got sidetracked: He could try, but he'd basically get a 504:Out of Service or Denial of Access Error, in whatever magical terms that would be.

I reread and I think I just misread the name.

Cool. Then Bartimaeus just tried, and now it's your turn to determine the outcome  :P

Happy New Year!

I lost a game of King's Cup, and drunk a whole bottle of vodka minus one shot. Send help.

Yeah sure, take out and wear the one thing that Belkelel probably wants, just to see what it does.

Welp. This is why you do the turns in a word document... Or grab one of those browser extension that automatically saves your work just in case. I'll stop pointing out the obvious now.

Ouch.

Sorry, by the way, PN, Projeck(I think Projeck is Ashley, right; I'm terrible at this). Lack of Focus and new years stuff been distracting me. I'll definitely put up an update for your miniplot today, hopefully in the next hour.

I had one of the most intense dota games of my life. I was playing typical faceless void carry
Game was going bad, we were at 30 and they at 60
tusk was feeding hard and stole kills, even got me killed in a snowball once
I was probably doing the best out of them. Not good enough though, I still had a shit ton of deaths. Drow did a shit ton of damage and so did huskar, and my chronosphere couldnt get them
the game was getting close to an end, drow snuck past our defenses and got our ancient to around 300 HP before we got to her. but she had a shadow blade so she escaped
Then we roshed, and I got aegis. Then they tried to gank us and then I chrono'd drow and killed her
turns out she had a divine rapier, which I promptly took.
Then we owned with my rapier + chronosphere (i had aghs) + butterfly + daedalus + mask of madness and eventually won

I'll just say it right now to get it out of the way:

Is it necessary to be an asshole to people who happen to not know how to play the game fucking perfectly? I mean Jesus H. Christ, people. Everyone has to learn the game when the first start playing, and everyone fucks up now and again, yourselves included. So being a dipshit about it just makes you look like an asshole.

With that said, back to our regularly scheduled programming, devoid of pointless and likely ignored rants.
