Zanzetkuken had left the room, having not been hungry, but came back after Hugo began to go through a process.  While the others backed away, she remained relatively close, something in her gut telling her to stay where she was standing.  Doesn't mean she wasn't scared out of her mind, and had her blade ready to launch at a moment's notice, though.

A bone crunching sound is heard. "I don't think kyless... I'dratherlistenta..." his voice was getting increasingly garbled.. "Idontwannadie..."

Arcvasti backs away from HugoLuman and brandishes his shillelagh.

HugoLuman tries to pull himself up on the counter again, this time the hand being clawed, and fails, falling to the ground, rolling on the floor and screaming.

Zanzetkuken watched, grimacing from time to time.  "Let's hope he remembers who he is when this is over with.  If he doesn't, he would be better off dead and his mind in a new body than trapped in one where he is savage..."

[SOLDIER First]

"This is a BB rifle. You think a thirteen year old's parents are gonna let him keep a real gun?"

Infinite pain. Blackness. He didn't know how long it went on, but when he stood up, everything seemed different, felt different. Pain and confusion clouded his mind. He felt Danger everywhere, behind the... counter... next to him. From the person brandishing the stick, from the person with the metal on her hand, from everyone in the room. There was only one way out, the small space in front of him. He dashed for the cupboard. Yes, escape! But on the other side, that familiar stench hit him again, only a hundred times worse. He fell forward and lurched for the other door, but the smell of the alcohol stung his nose almost as bad, so he curled up in the doorway, whimpering.

Propman was busy fleeing like a dirty coward, darting past the rooms and into the end of the cathedral. Really bad gesture there, he thought to himself. His "pals" would likely not be too pleased at him leaving in the face of their friend transforming into a werewolf and possibly attacking them, and he had an inner debate on whether or not he should move back to see how the situation was going.

The adventurer keeled and began to pray. Praying for the forgiveness of the heinous abandonment he had committed, as well as for some form of guidance. He took his hat off and rested his elbows on it as he went through all the motions his mother taught him, and then some.

All this input assaulting his brain... it was too much to bear. He tried to drown it out, but just couldn't. Should he go back, get away from the overload? Was it too dangerous? No. He couldn't budge. Everything was too much.

Zanzetkuken walked over next to the newly transformed wolf, and placed her right hand just below his neck, slightly rubbing the wolf's back in an effort to calm it, whispering "Shhh..." whenever the wolf whimpered.
