"Well, my choices seem crap, given what we've seen so far. The active one is 'Animal Empathy,' which I assume means either calming or communicating with them, and the passive is 'Herbalism.' What do you guys think sounds most useful?"

Kyle hands Arcvasti a bottle of rum. He may notice Kyle is sporting an eyepatch. Or, a bit of metal on one of the eyeholes of his helmet. But there's an eyepatch under it you can be assured.

"Well sir, I highly doubt this dungeon would lend itself well to greenery other then the moss I found growing in a corner, and any creature that isn't attempting to maul us to death is an ally...or a ready meal."

"Alright then, I'll go with that." He presses the button. "How are you holding up, Kyle?"

Swearing, Arcvasti pushes up his pant leg to reveal the exact same scar.

"Sorry..." Zanzetkuken says, a bit guiltily.

**Nah, its fine. It barely even hurts at all. Just the transference. And besides, better me then a lady. Well, SORT OF a lady. Same principle goes. That is to say...**

Arcvasti pulls himself together.

**Besides, I figure its my duty. The dais chose me to aid and support you people, and so I will. I failed to do that in the werewolf room and now its the least I can do to assume my responsibility. **

Arcvasti also heals Zanzetkuken's slightly broken skin and HugoLuman's scar while he's at it.

Kyle hands Arcvasti a bottle of rum.

**Thanks, I guess.**
Arcvasti takes an experimental swig, then stows it in a pocket.

**Probably shouldn't be drinking that. I wonder if I can cure hangovers?**

"What do you guys think sounds most useful?"

**I'd say Animal Empathy. In case we run into a level 20 rat or something similar.**

(It's broken skin behind the shoulder, not a broken shin.)

((Ninja you say?))

Kyle turns to Hugo and holds a thumbs up. And then he takes a swig of sake.

[[Fixed. Or at least, it will be in a minute or two. Out of curiousity, is anyone really using this?

[EDIT: I guess we ought to, but I forgot about that sheet]

The scar doesn't seem to respond. "Guess it only works on unhealed wounds? I dunno. The other ones I got seem to still be open, but don't bother with them, they're skin-deep. I already fixed my eye with that potion you looted."

[EDIT: Sorry for double-post!]

HugoLuman looks at the scepter on the floor. "So... who wants to do the honors?"

Propman shrugs.

"I've reason to think that moving any further in this path might not be the greatest idea if we're just wandering. For the time being, I say we attempt to set up a base somewhere and continue to operate from there, as we don't know how long this dungeon is. The booze room back there has a source of drink, even if it's a piss awful one, though it might be a bit small for the likes of a group of, er, a dozen was it?"

Glancing at the scepter, he pokes the curious object with the blunt end of his spear.

"Aye mate, you wouldn't mind healing off a melted hand if this thing is cursed or something?"

The buccaneer was mostly joking at the statement, mostly.

((What can I say mate, I have fine tastes. ))

Propman nevertheless takes a precaution and grabs the stone scepter through his sleeve, closely inspecting it and then feeling it with his hand. It was smooth and well polished, a bit hard to grip actually, and it felt heavy and solid enough that one could use it as a mace.

"This might make a good wall hanger, or even see if it's worth selling when we get out of here! Of course..."

He stood for a moment and fiddled with his web belt, using it as a makeshift holding for his spear as he climbed up the raised platform which contained the door. On it stood an indentation where the upper bit of the scepter fit in quite snugly.

"I'll stick it in here mates, but I would suggest that we regroup and set things up before going onward! Danger lies ahead, after all."

(The scepter is the key to the door in this room)

"I can't stand alcohol in any amount, so I'd tend to agree. Wasn't there water back in that start room?"

"I'd say, but that stuff smells a bit like chemicals. I heard that it's often crystal clear water that's the most caustic when it comes to unidentified sources, because then it's poison enough that not even bacteria can live in it. Of course, it might be that some soul was kind enough to shove purifiers up the wazoo into there, and the chemicals are what keep it safe to drink, but I'm going to have to call 50/50 on that one."

Propman jumped out of the raised platform and moved back to the door they came in from, unlocking it and leaving it open for the other Bay 12ers to exit and enter as they pleased.
