((Actually, my mother bought it a few years back. Yes. My mother, bought that particular one, and played it. We still have it, but the PS2 no longer has a working controller.))

(( Pity. There are so many good PS2 games. You should buy one somewhere. Anyways, the one I'm interested in is actually IX, just cos you like barely ever hear anything about it. X and X-II were and still are talked about, as well as VII and VIII, but noone seems to talk about IX much. So it makes me curious to see if it's actually any good. ))

((True. On an unrelated-related note, if you've never played Tales of Phantasia, I would suggest you do so immediately. I used an emulator for it and spent seventy hours playing it before I had to give the laptop it was on back to the school, so I never finished, but! It is a very fun game.))

((And now, I'll stop stinking up your RtD with my OOC.))

(( OH yea, I've heard good things about it! And obviously, I'm an Earthbound fan and if you haven't played Earthbound, your RPG experience is incomplete. It is amazing. The whole series is. Especially considering Mother is an NES game. To be able to convey so much emotion in an NES game... Mind boggling. Bravo Itoi, bravo. The final boss fight was particularly great. You could really get a feel for Giegue... and that's part of why I think he sticks around in my mind so much is because of how different he seems to the average RPG boss. ))
(( Too late now, I'm trying to make it to page 100 with the OOC. ))

((In that case, I'll keep contributing. My only warning would be: don't get the horribly broken iOS version. I will get on playing that as soon as I get my computer to an area where I can use the internet. And, suddenly, I want to go back and play Mega Man X like I did when I was little. Curse my parents for giving away our Super Nintendo!))

((Yeah, although there's a GBA version, and I've always found the GBA emulator to be much more agreeable.))

(( Pppfttt, yeah. GBA remakes though, typically have some quality loss in both the visuals and the audio. That said, It feels like a waste to use my handy-dandy Xbox controller with a GBA version. I mean, there's two whole unusued buttons! ))

((Then go for it, yeah, the sound is pretty bad in the GBA version. I will say this... Do all side quests! And never underestimate the power of Lightning Tiger Blade. Especially if you can get a certain someone trapped against the edge of the screen.))
