Have the chainborn also repair anything with the part of the ship we have left that we can.

And scouts should scout more.

And uninjured warriors should gather food.

Year 1, May
You give the mining tools to your chainborn to continue mining. They haven't found much ore yet, but they've deepened the mine and gathered some more stone. You also try to fix the damage done to your shelter. You get some work done, but not much, but at least you've reclaimed some of what you lost.

You fix the growing bay, deciding to grow some food. It gets to working condition, and you get to work planting the seeds you retained from the crash. Vorplus seeds can be grown to create vorplus, a nutritious plant that can feed a large colony for weeks. They take around a season to grow, but will yield more seeds and plenty of food. You decide to gather more food from the forest in the meantime. The traps gather some more hares and some birds and foxes. Fishing still proves fruitless. Hunting is just as uneventful. However, Philip gathers plenty of berries and mushrooms and other plants.

You have some trees cut down. You get plenty of wood. Around three to four large logs. Meanwhile, the overseer is fully grown. He can now oversee the chainborn and increase efficiency. Unfortunately Philip has caught a cold. He spends most of his time lying down and resting.

Have phillip drink continuis amount of fluids, that's one of the best home cures for this kind of stuff.

Fix more of the shelter, tell the overseer to oversee our chainborn deepen the mines some more, and grow more food.

And scouts should scout more.

And uninjured warriors should gather food.

Year 1, June
It's starting to get hotter and hotter. You have Philip drink lots and lots of fluid. He doesn't seem to get better, but at least he isn't getting worse. You try to fix the shelter more and more and you get some progress. It is now undetectable from a far distance, but you can see it when you get closer. You have the newborn overseer oversee the chainborn in deepening the mines some more. It's a huge success! You get plenty of ore and stone, and the mine is quite deep now. They've also breached a cave system, with plenty of underground fungi and water.

You try to get more food. You release hormones in the growing bay, trying to speed up the growth. It is somewhat sped up, but not significantly. You tell your uninjured warriors to go get more food. They get some deer and boar, plenty to last a month or two. The traps catch plenty of game, with various rabbits, foxes, and squirrels. Fishing goes well too, finally. You catch some fish in the river, a welcome change from rabbit and deer.

You get your chainborn to fix the ship with the scrap from the crash, with the help of the councilor and the overseer. They get most of the systems up and running, fully restoring the growing bay and birthing chamber, and getting the heating and ventilation system working again. It is now much more comfortable in the nest, and Philip seems to benefit from it.

You send more scouts out into the forest. They finally find the other parts of the ship, notably the armory and the engine room, as well as the rest of the storage bay. They obviously can't carry it back, but it isn't far. It's around an hour and a half walk from each other. Unfortunately, some humans have moved in. After describing them to Philip, he says they're most likely deserters or bandits.

We NEED to get into that armory whenever possible to get ALL of those weapons, there's no telling what can happen if those bandits get them first.

They are roughly taller than an average human, and stronger, but they have no fighting power and no initiative. They will fight if told to, however.

We could have the warrior lead the chainborn with some sharp sticks or something and attack.

We have to open up that armory first however that way we can get something that's not a stick.

I have a plan for this, delay update until I write it. I will edit into this post.

AAAnd editplan:

Scouts observe humans, learning their patterns, if a single human leaves the group, off him quietly.

Screech throughout the night and don't let them sleep.

By the end of two weeks, we should be able to waltz in there with a single chain born and slaughter the fuckers, course we will have the warriors kill them off.

Around five or six. They didn't see any more, but their clothes were hanged and they had a fire. They don't seem capable of using the advanced weaponry, as far as you know.

Watch the hoomans, stalk and murderize any that wander off, when the rest of the group gets curious and goes looking for them ambush them and slaughter the lot.
