I've been checking a couple times a day for the last couple weeks, as the days tick by I'm getting closer to sitting here and pressing f5 all day!

I say he beats the 2 year time frame since last release which is exactly 1 week from today.  However, 4+ days between updates during bug squashing has gotten me anxious for an imminent release..but I would have said the same thing a year ago 

As for recent updates...I for one welcome our Yak military overlords, some bugs just make for better stories.

I've been checking daily for the past year and a half, all the hile saying to my self "soon, soon" when I knew it wasn't going to be until now, some what...

Now I check every 5 minutes. and lurk these forums trying to find new threads that don't exist.

And when I run across a phrase that some what traverses on next update features I quickly check the main page for the new version.

I'm changing my old May bet to the exact day I have to take the Regents, because as the universe always has it, then I'll be too busy drawing dwarves hitting elves with axe heads on the hitting faces of hammers to actually take the Regents and therefore fail.

Six months ago, I thought for sure it would be out in February. I think I spent a month and a half feeling all hyped up about the next release, and I got burned out. I can't believe that was a whole half of a year ago.

Now? I'm betting it will be out before June 4, 2016.

The silence is truly nerve wracking. However, I can't help but think that Toady is simply busy in something else just so that I don't get my hopes too high that the next update would be the release of the new version itself.
