"Hurt."

Jorund spoke authoritatively. He picked Colt up surprisingly gently, with one arm under his shoulders and the other under his knees.

"Rest. Pretty lady, Jorund, help."

: "Believe me, I'm perfectly fine. I just- Hey!"

Colt yelped just a bit in surprise at being lifted into the air by Jorund and his robes flitted sideways, to reveal a darker patch of red than that of his cloth.

Nerea winces and gently probes the wound with her fingers.

"You don't look perfectly fine to me."

"Can we just heal him already and got on with this? He clearly needs the healing, even if he's too stubborn to admit it. And we should all be at full strength for what we're facing."

"Shhh. Sleep now."

Jorund turned his attention to the lady with the apple-colored hair. After a few moments of working out the words, he spoke a question.

"...Blond man be OK, pretty lady?"

Colt said nothing, but his wound told another story. It wasn't the worst wound that Nerea's ever been liable to see by far, but it needed mending. As for his part, Colt sighed and thought silently.
: "My life is many regrets."

Then his eyes turned to Halldora. If his memory served him correctly, she was wounded too. Only she wasn't blatantly showing it. He would have to bring this up to her later and check if she was alright.

"I know. Just let me do my work and I'll let you do yours."

"...Blond man be OK, pretty lady?"

Nerea finally heals Colt with her staff.

"Yes, Jorund, he'll be OK."

"You should be okay now. You shouldn't hide your wounds from me though."

"I am here to look after you."

Cidney took this all in stride, comparatively. He let the others talk to the Rivans, though, knowing himself well enough that the first thing he'd say would probably be an incantation from the tome he'd found just a few months ago. Well, now it was more like 300 years, wasn't it? Crikey...

That bloody city-fop was being annoying, though. Maybe he was in more shock than he'd thought, though; by the time he'd begun to try and do something about it, the situation seemed to be handled.

"Pig's arse the future. Never liked magic like that, and bloody oath for it!"

"Good."

The giant was relieved. He was supposed to watch these people and keep them safe. If blond man was going to be OK, so much the better.

: "Thanks..."

As Jorund released him, he pulled aside Nerea.

: "Since you seem worried about healing people... It may be best to check up on Halldora as well later. You caught me but, I have a feeling that she wouldn't even realize she was wounded until it's too late. Keep an eye on her for me, would you?"

Jorund patted Colt on the shoulder with a massive hand, then seemed lost. After a minute of looking around, he walked over to Einar's horse and looked at Eleonore.

"March now?"

"Don't worry, I will. And I'll let her know that you're so concerned about her."
: "Erhm... No. You don't have to do that. I mean... The telling her part."

He looked around nervously, and found a distraction to use to separate himself from Nerea.

:"I concur. Jorund and Cidney are right. We should get moving soon."

Nerea laughs.

"I knew it."
