Eleonore climbed onto the horse rather clumsily, sitting between Einar and the horse's neck. Then she looked at Halldora, unable to muster a smile.

"I don't know, Hallie."

"Well then. It looks like our group is ready. Hold on to the pommel there, my lady. It wouldn't do for you to fall off after all. Though, if you don't mind, I'll have my arms around you to reach the reins. I should be able to keep you on here fairly easily."

"Of course, I understand." Eleonore grabbed on the pommel.

"Right then. Halldora, perhaps you would walk alongside us? I might not be the best of conversationists for Eleonore if I'm concentrating on keeping us with the group and on the horse, but I'm sure the two of you could have a nice conversation even without me."

Perhaps he could devise some manner by which they could use magic to return them to this time period. Priestly magics were not his specialty, but he could force himself to learn. : A speck of dust got into my eye. So I didn't react fast enough to dodge that lance. Still... I'll be damned if I let those Rivan dogs know that I was wounded. If it could wait until we reach the city...

"You soldiers can be so stubborn sometimes."

"Oh get over your stupid noble pride and let her heal your damn wound. That way you won't collapse halfway to wherever we're going and force Jorund to carry you."

"Colt, let Nerea see your wounds. The last thing I want to be burdened with is an illness or worse things befalling you just because your wounds weren't patched." Eleonore spoke quietly from top of Einar's horse.

"Please?"
