"I had not thought of the dangers of the road - daytime may be better suited for our endeavor, and resting while we have the opportunity is vital for our success."
((We should get some better dialogue going - right now we're just stating things...))

'Be that as it may, i do not think i will sleep tonight.'

The memories of his last fight rung fresh in Aras's mind. He had woken in the care of a passing hunter, and recovered under the ministrations of a village healer. Neither had seen his companions, and he feared the worst. And so he had come here, to the knightlodge where they had first received that fatal task - but there was no sign of the one that had given it to them.

Aras sighed at the memory. No, he would not be able to sleep tonight, even if he had wished to.

((This character is liking to remain just stating things for a while. Sorta. Might eventually develop a personality. Yanno, long enough away from the rest of his kind, etc. Which might end up providing subplot. That hopefully doesn't wind up being too angsty. :V))

Thrunn blinks slowly, his artificial eye dimming to match his real one, "This unit would suggest resting before heading out. As eager as this unit is to get underway, its heart-stone needs to recharge," he says, tapping at the middle of his chest, "It has been running at full capacity for quite some time now."

"Then it's settled; we'll leave in the morning, as soon as the sun rises - we have no time to lose."
A while later, in a more private setting, Balthazar turns to Aras: "If there's anything I can do to help, you know where to find me. And, if I may make a suggestion: There are plenty of ways to take one's mind off one's troubles in a place like this, if you know what I mean."

'I do, but I would rather stand guard with them. Mine is to face my troubles. Only then can I grow stronger.'
Aras hesitated, before nodding to Balthazar.
'Rest if you would. Even stones are worn away by time.'

"Guess I'll get a room then."
Kyle goes off to find himself a place to sleep.

No... no, not the merchant. I can see no more than glimmers, mind. But... a powerful evil is passing through Mulgran wood at this time. Whatever it is will... likely have eaten the beast already. If you stay to the road you may be safe, but going after that caravan will secure your doom.
The buzkari then retreats, moving to his companions.
Will someone... accompany me... to the Drunken Swan?

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

The insect begins walking out.
We may be able to... fell this beast on the way through.

Jarund follows the Buzkari. "That beast of Mulgran Wood those knights were talking about? What did you learn from them?"

The Buzkari shrugs. 'Not much.'.
He continues out of the inn, slightly out of breath, and heads towards the Drunken Swan.
