"Lycan it is. And I'm just used to it. Kaarina isn't always this little ray of sunshine, she just seems grumpy since yesterday." he explains.

After listening to the exchange between Kaarina and Elend, the knight was left unsure whether Elend was just excessively dramatic or if she had ingested psychotropic substances.

"Girl, you fine? Ate anythin' funny?"

Looking rather too long at the flirtatious exchange, Sophie ducked a skeleton's sword before pausing for a moment (her face lighting up) and darting into a space between Lesan and Lycan, and did a little sort of shimmy (perhaps a little bit too close to Lesan) before turning to him:

"I. Uh. Thank you?" Lesan began to visibly sweat, only his relative familiarity with Sophie allowing him to not immediately bolt. "I um, I'm sure I'll need it a lot as the battle continues?" A small voice at the back of Lesan's conscious mind was screaming, but it was being overwhelmed by barely restrained anxiety.

Her typical reclusiveness now catching up with the sudden burst of flirt, Sophie turned rather red but she looked undeniably pleased with herself.

Elend though she mostly did mean what she said a lot of the time, even if it was a little embellished. Well, a lot embellished. The axe-girl was certainly impressive, but perhaps she had given her too much credit... Or too little? Her mind was slowly clearing, and remembering how she was thinking and speaking beforehand, Elend was on the verge of flushing red. God, what had she been doing!?

"And no, I did not eat anything funny, strange knight."

Well, aside from-but that could wait for an explanation. It wasn't really that uncommon, after all, and it was less what she did eat and more of what she didn't.

"Good. Just makin' sure." Lycan figured her strange behavior's cause was probably just a heavy dose of dramatics, then. Or maybe something funny she had drank.

When Elend answered, the feral knight's attention had already been momentarily diverted towards Sophie's dance and the scene protagonized by her as she attacked a helpless Lesan. A wide grin came to his face as he watched. They did say many things about the quiet ones.
