Knightler nodded and pointed to the abomination, it seemed to be a human before all those mutations, now it was only some deformed creature dripping with green substances from some parts of its body, clearly a powerful poison. Both its sword and its claws were embedded with poison.

"They got you poisoned. We -had- priests with us carrying antidote for a reason, these things are covered in poison!"

Sophie continued to work her performance magic, still right next to Lesan, looking up at him what seemed to be sort of hopefully... in addition to rather scarlet with a blush.

Lesan was attempting to focus on the shambling undead all around them, but he noticed Sophie staring at him and that went right out the window.

"Uh... Hey Sophie. Are you okay? You uh, you look a little red."

Sophie flashed a very brief grin, before somewhat demurely:
:"U-um, yep, just fine!"

"Oh. Well, uh, if you say so..." Maybe this whole undead thing is really bothering her, and that's why she's sticking so close? Yeah, that's probably it.

Elend wonders quietly in Lycan's direction.

"What in the world are they doing?"

"Sophie's trying to show Lesan something he just doesn't get."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Oh, so that's what's going on? I thought that Lesan had ripped his pants or something, it's hard to tell from over here," she calls out from the tower she's caping, loud enough for everyone nearby to hear.

Elend calls back softly to Kaarina.

"That could still be the case, I can't see from here. Maybe there's a giant gaping hole in his pants out of our sight and that's something he 'just doesn't get'?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Oh, I'm sure that there's a lot that Lesan isn't getting. And neither is Sophie."

[UXLZ]

"My oh my. Well, perhaps with time, they will 'get' something, eventually."

Elend watches the awkwardness and misunderstanding between the two a while longer.

"... That's a very big 'perhaps.'"

"I hope not. We've got better stuff to do then plan a wedding. As unlikely as it'd be I'm sure that they'll get there eventually. They have come a long way after all."
