I wondered about that myself. The council said that they weren't able to get any messages to or from the copper hills as of late." Lucien points to the Copper hills. "I wouldn't doubt that the ogres of Wacca Bluffs have begun assualting them again..." Lucien picks up three mugs of rum and downs them all. he picks up another after setting the empty tankards down and pores it onto the ground in a kind of solemn ritual.

"And bring attention from the gods Torben?" How did Lucien know thier name?

Elleanor paused looking at the map. After a while she shook her head

"I don't do well with other people, I would prefer to live on my own"

"And where will you go? Back to the forest where you survived? Or what about the village you aren't welcome in?" Lucien knows more than he has let on.

"Again, why?  Why us, and why here?"  Cymea's tone was brusque, balancing on the edge of disrespect, but at the mention of the gods' notice, her hand shifted unconsciously to rub the bracelet on her left wrist.

After being silent for several moments, Vor'Thon finnaly speaks up again.
"A village, huh? It' been a while since I tended to a proper farm. Might be a bit realxing, even. The name's Vor'Thon, by the way."

The Silus frowned at that remark

"How do you know about that?"

The armoured lizard look around "Why did the gods choose you lot if you drop out at the idea of it? At least try it, you never know. The place may be just right for you."

After being silent for several moments, Vor'Thon finnaly speaks up again.
"A village, huh? It' been a while since I tended to a proper farm. Might be a bit realxing, even. The name's Vor'Thon, by the way."

"We are to fix the mistake of Ixohr. We are to learn to live with one another in harmony. the gods think they have failed." Lucien downs another mug of rum.

"The gods gave me a message years ago. To scout you all out. And I did."

"Isss hard to prove all races can live in peace when some of them are not there. Wasss whole point, yesss?

But I'm afraid I have to sssay no. Thisss sounds like a lot of toil. No interest to me. The sun is warmer on the plains than in the forest."

"I have work to do that will lead me all across the continent and possibly even the world. I have no time to sit in the middle of a forest. They call to me and I must go to them."

 Vulpa sighs, before nodding to Lucien.'I won't match that, as it seems we'll have a fair quantity of work both tonight and tomorrow - I'd rather a clear head than a won bet.' Then she turns to the hissing lizardwoman.
 'You would chase the sun? Then why not try the desert? And if you'd rather not, then you may as well come with us. A little toil can be a lot of fun, if you know how to have it.' She shakes her head, slowly. 'But if you're afraid to make your own fate - if you can't bear the thought of a little excitement - then be our guest. Walk away. When you hear our names in songs and poems, never speak a word of this chance. And when you appear at our gates some day, long from now, do not expect to be remembered. Fate is for those who make it, my friend. So are you a maker, or a buyer?'

"If serving the gods isn't enough," Lucien pulls out a stack of papers held together by bindings, "Writs of execution on the lot of us. Seems they want us gone one way or another." Lucien unbinds the papers and passes them out to their respective person.

[Alexandria]

Torban calmly hands the writ to the warrior behind him who presses it against a glowing red blade until it's burned to ashes.

" i should be so lucky, I'm condemned to life. "

He then looks up in the air.

"Right you swine? You'd never be so kind as to put me out of my misery."

[Sanure]

"Look. Like it or not, You lot are the chosen ones. Might as well live it up now before we get to the Merthy woods." Lucien raises up a mug and calls for a cheers.

[Alexandria]

"If you don't stop thinking about that damned booze Valentiare I'm going to start sharing embarassing childhood stories."

Torban raises his eyebrows looking at Lucien daring him to challenge him.
