"Looks like we're doin' great, guys. Keep up the exploding death, y'all."

Conjure more oil around the icemen. Watch the fireworks.

Maybe we should let up on the oil? It's too indiscriminate, and the witch hunter is prolly super mad if she isn't already dead.

Selina attempts to escape the icemen and get away from the battlefield! M follows, not as afraid as you would expect.

Focus on the bow for now.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Oop. Ssss.. Hide under some snow. Enter the fray. Zap giants and use halberds on those that get too close, but try to avoid letting them close the distance.
Apparently, being a foot or two taller than most people is more notable than being made of ice and snow.
Power: [5+1+0.2=6]
Control: [1-1-1+0.2=0]
Another explosion ensues as Logan runs into the fray, this one hot thin beams of light. Between the flaming oil and the new explosion, quite a few icemen are completely collapsed, while others are definitely looking shakier. The humans aren't doing so great either.

Kyle runs in the same direction as Selina.
So he does. He gets hit by a bit of the explosion.
[3]
Thankfully, he doesn't get hit too hard. Still, he's slowed down; this won't be too pleasant.

... Well.

... Know what, we have a job. Create bolts of Hydrogen, hook them through fire, and throw them at the icemen.
Power: [4]
Control: [5+1
You create several small bolts of hydrogen. They ignite and explode, which further damages the icemen's ranks.

"Looks like we're doin' great, guys. Keep up the exploding death, y'all."

Conjure more oil around the icemen. Watch the fireworks.
Power: [3+1+0.4=5]
Control: [4-1+1+0.3=4]
You conjure more oil, ignited by the flaming oil bits, explosion of light, and assorted bits of foliage that have been caught on fire by other things. This does remarkably little, given that your team already set a lot of stuff on fire; still, it's helping destroy the rest of the icemen.

Selina attempts to escape the icemen and get away from the battlefield! M follows, not as afraid as you would expect.
[5-0.2=5]
[2-0.4=2]
Selina manages to avoid getting too hurt by the explosion, although some of the weaker bolts did manage to scorch her a bit. M, on the other hand, collapses--from pain or injury, you can't tell. The remaining icemen seem to be ignoring them, but with friends like these, who needs enemies?

Focus on the bow for now.
[Sleep: 3]
Power: [5-0.2-1=4]
Control: [1+0.2-1=1]
You summon a mangled burst of metal, which looks almost like if you melted an iron bow and a bunch of iron spikes slightly, crumpled them all together, and let them cool. You suspect that it won't make a good weapon of any kind.

The icemen are more or less done, only a few still mobile, and even those are melting. All that's left now is to clean up, and check for survivors.

"I think we got most of 'em. Now all that's left is ta watch them fellers melt, eh?"

How many from the schmuck brigade who decided fighting the animate, unfeeling ice constructs head-on with standard tactics could ever be a good idea are still standing? Did we kill less than half? If so, thumbs up for holding back!

1. In their defense, they never intended to do more than test the enemy. Hardly their fault that said enemy was a lot faster than anticipated.
2. No one's standing. Without checking, you won't be able to know how many survived.

(Does anyone here have magic that can do "figurative" stuff? When Elsa hurt her sister, she didn't hit her with an ice-ray, she set off some kind of symbolic process rather than freezing her blood in her veins, or causing frostbite. Basically, something happened to her due to getting hit with ice magic, rather than ice itself. But hydrogen, oil, and meat don't really sound like they'd cause "figurative" stuff to happen, they just seem like purely physical things. Light, Crystal, and Metal seem like they could do something figurative, but the others don't.)
