I thought the guy saw them both naked and bathing and his head exploded. Because that would be an awesome myth to have. Also, double entendre.

You know, the greatest tragedy in all of this is this:

You shrug and jitter bug over to the labs. The massive blast doors are still sealed, though they're pot-marked with damage. The guy at the kiosk near the doors is dead. Or at least you would assume so; sort of hard to see into the booth with all that blood and brain matter splattered over the inside of the glass.

The R&D Kiosk Guy died in Grate-9.  I'm sure he'd catch wind of rumors and start blowing them up.
