Okay, this isn't dead. But my internet's not allowing me to upload images for some reason. For that reason I want to ask: Would you be okay with a few updates without pictures or with a picture that is made like

Spoiler: Example (click to show/hide)
or some such? If you'd rather stick with normal pictures you might have to wait until I can get my internet working without so much snow...

Either way: This is not dead.

I'd be ok with fake pictures, I like this game.

I prefer pictures, but I don't mind not having them.

Yeah, I'd be okay with things too. At least until you get the pictures sorted out.

[[Time: 0300 (3 PM) Day 2]]

The groups spirits were considerably higher after their encounter with Big-Tina. It was nice to see that not everyone out here was a violent criminal. Never-the-less their task beckoned and so they continued their journey.

At first they saw no instances of human habitation. Simply miles and miles of rusty hunks of metal and sand. Sand and hunks of metal. Once the group even saw a big hunk of metal carrying dozens of the other hunks of metal. You all entertained yourselves by debating what the hunks of metal might have been. The oddest idea was that they were miniature vaults. Granted, they appeared to be useless in that regard as there were many open windows without radiation proof glass. Never-the-less it was an entertaining way to pass the time.

Eventually the group reached the destination or at least they thought they had.

The reason for their confusion was the fact that the vault door led right out into the wasteland without any cave to protect it. Even weirder was the fact that the door itself was on the ground. Scorched black and with several bodies next to it. Something tells you that this won’t be a happy reunion with Vault-225.

Sorry for the delay but bad times = No update. I will, if I miss an update, always make up for it the day after however.

"Appears to have been made from thrown explosives, rather than any form of launcher. Grenades, dynamite. Not hard to get your hands on some if you know where to look. Or make it yourself, if you're crazy enough to mess with that."
Cromwell sighed.

Kira pulls out her pistol and cocks it, turning the safety off.

"We should investigate before we return to give our report."

Kira searches the charred bodies throughly.

((Oh god, almost posted this without the 'it'...))

Selina looks a bit sick, trying to not think about how many people were just killed.

Kira: Investigate the Bodies
[[Time: 0305 (3 PM) Day 2]]

The group gathers around the bodies with varying levels of disgust at the burnt bodies. Even at a casual glance you could each tell that these people died painfully. Probably on fire. Glancing inside the dark entrance of the vault you’re relieved to see that no one has stuck around. At least in that area.

“We should check the bodies.” Kira says as she crouches down next to the bodies and examines them. Unfortunately they appear to have already been stripped of all useful items.

“So… How many times were they shot?” Kyle asked as he examined the broken vault door.

“None.” Kira replied as she moved a burnt piece of cloth “Or at least not that I can see.”

“How did they die then? Burned to death?”

“I would assume. Maybe not though… There are a ton of cuts…”

Back on schedule! By the way, I’ve realized that I should probably set up an XP system of sorts here. So from now on Skill Challenge rewards will be:

1-25 = +5 XP
26-50 = +10 XP
51-100 = +20 XP
101-150 = +50 XP
151-200 = +100 XP
201-250 = +200 XP
251-300 = +400 XP
301+ = +500 XP

"Looks like all the bodies were people from inside the vault. So either the attackers buried their own dead and left these people to rot, or they were led outside to be massacred." Kira frowns, her brow furrowed in concentration.

"Should we go inside? We're probably going to find bandits with... knives and explosives? That's not good..."

"Yes. I'm not certain what we'll see inside, but we should be on our guard."
