As long as you have wheels or legs to keep yourself still, you can get full accuracy (which seems to be 100% accurate). Rail guns don't really go with fliers that well.

Yeah but the aiming thing is from the update before last I think, (after fixing a damage bug supposedly lead to excessive OHKs, (I'm guessing particularly in the lower tiers)). The reload's been around since inception.
Wheels aren't good for rails, they slide on hills and the slightest breath of movement maxes out failgun crosshairs.

I just got someone informing me they're gonna build something based on my bot- that makes two so far.  8)

I do believe if you reload after firing one shot, it takes less time to reload.

So that something, I suppose.

Rail reload time is related to the number of loaded and unloaded rails, iirc.

Scaffolding?
Uh, I'm not sure I should have said "scaffolding" now, but basically it consisted of white chassis cubes and T9 SMGs mounted on them.

I'll go test the railgun reload- it was my impression it was 20s regardless of number, but that mighta changed with the addition of mid-clip reload.
Huh, seems it does play a factor.

So it seems adding a second railgun will halve the reload of the first.

I remember the first time I used railguns they were like that (quite some time ago). I think they were very quickly nerfed.

How can you even play with 20s reload weapon which loses accuracy on every movement? Is it even possible?

They have quite high damage, and if you hit a tank somewhere weak like near the seat, it can often one hit kill them.

Basically they work if you have good twitch reflexes (horay for years of playing Quake!).

They could just as easily miss because turning them can max out the accuracy easily.

This is true, and annoying. They were much more satisfying to use when they diddn't do this.

I like it better when I can actually try out new and interesting ideas and not get punished for it.

 Not everyone can be happy at the same time, but I feel not having that huge barrier to entry is better for a lot more people.
