Get out my violin and roll for initiative. Time to give the big guy some some buffs.
((I'm letting the DM handle my rolls from now on, because I probably still can't be trusted to roll it myself.))

Yay, battle music! Now this fight can be truly intense.

It's too bad we're inside, or I could fly, too.

Initiative order:
Alaris: 19
Gregory: 11
Puppeteer: 9

The Countess is stated up, giving me a nice chassis for up-scaling.

As you rip into it with your fists and horns, you manage to pull off a whole third of the wall. (37 damage.)

Alaris, a wave of pain knocks you off your feet, and you feel like you're on the brink of death. You are prone and disabled.

[Maneuver Rolled: Leading the Attack]

Gartens looks to the walls, then back to the creature. "Just start running!" she called back to the group, before moving forward to deal with the last of their foes. The crusader desperately slashed at the beast with her spear, bringing the weapon down overhead, practically holding it by the butt end as she smashed the creature down with all her strength. "Kill it now!" she cried to her hounds in the tongue of her people. They set upon the creature as well, pulling it down from where it floated and ripping it apart with their fury.

[Gartens Actions: Swift Action: Martial Stance take up; healing to Kemik. Standard Action: Mountain Hammer; Normal attack, if it hits, deals 2d6 extra points of damage and whole attack ignore damage reduction and hardness. Five foot step backwards afterwards]
[Greghir's Actions: Standard Action: KILL THE WORM! five foot step backwards afterwards]
[Kemik's Actions: Full-Round Action: KILL THE WORM WITH FULL ATTACK DAMNIT! Five foot step backwards afterwards]

Gartens makes a powerful stab with her spear, but it passes by the floating beast. Her hounds leap onto the beast, biting and clawing into it, tearing it into two. In a burst of white light, the beams explode, not harming anyone. The cave stops shaking, and the collapse seems averted.

Hix'ix'ix wanders up the mine, kicking the corpses, checking to make sure that they are indeed corpses. "What do you sssay to checking out the next chamber? Maybe we can find sssome treasure that ain't cursssed."

Edit: Oh, and initiative is done... for now...
Act freely.

"Alright, but if there's too many of the damn things waiting for us, then I suggest we run for the entrance as fast as our legs can carry us. I can at least slow them down, if somewhat temporarily."

Cautiously explore deeper into the caves.

((Do we get XP for this battle?))

The second that you go to heal your self, you feel the pain disappear. You feel just fine, it must have been one of the Countess's tricks! You clamber back to your feet, readying yourself for the next time she tries that again. (+4 to will save against that power for this fight.)

It is Remuthra's turn.
