The end is nigh, which means I should really post the list (funny how I'm planning out the next 12 months but don't have the motivation or willpower to plan out the next 24 hours).

In no particular order:
1. Achieve the 100 push-ups a day thing
2. Get a job
3. Go abroad, anywhere will do
4. Finally learn how to draw females
5. Ditto for faces
6. Start and finish building a world
7. Start learning a new language
8. Do a comission, any will do
9. Go on a long bike trip (I'm thinking transnational)
10. Start doing regular plein air sketching trips
11. Start a proper YouTube channel
12. Go skydiving, or paragliding, anything involving flight of some sort

And that's about it I think, not sure how feasible most of these are since a good part of them should fall into the same timeframe which means that panicking is more likely.

In any case, let's be generous and consider doing two thirds of them a success.

20 minutes to go, so I guess I need a list:

1. Find time for at least 3 dives this year.
2. Don't give up on getting into uni
3. Write a game. I don't care what, or how complicated, just stop giving up halfway through.
4. Learn to draw faces
5. make a serious attempt to learn guitar
6. Revise for A-levels
7. Write > 10,000 words of coherence that isn't a forum game
8. Drink <= once per week
9. break into the pile of books on the desk. Seriously. DO IT.
10. Find non-substance related motivation
11. Find a source of income that isn't parents
12. Hang in there

All right PROGRESS UPDATE POST

I'll plan to update once every week and a half or something.  That should be enough time to make reasonable progress.

1. Run one mafia game per quarter

I'm planning to open the first one on 1/7/2014.  I spent some time last night working on character concepts, and will be doing my first big chunk of writing tomorrow.  I also have basic plans for the next two games... the fourth needs some consideration.

2. Read Les Miserables

Still on my shelf!  Staring.

3. Track down and eat ichigo daifuku

I found six places that might have it, and once I have a phone I'll start calling them.

4. Write "Knots of Hay" [30-part web serial thing]

I have a very, very vague outline that I need to turn into character sketches and a 30-part outline.

5. Translation project [no more details since I plan to publish]

I think I did about 1/10 of this so far.  I need to transfer it, and my other writing projects to my new machine.

6. Polish and attempt to publish one short story

I have a draft, but I think it may need to be entirely written due to poor unification of imagery and theme.  This also needs to be moved over to the new compy.

7. Sew or knit something

The stuff's at my parents' house...

8. Read through Dickens and attend the local Christmas Faire, possibly in costume
9. Read through Shakespeare and go to a play

On the shelf or in boxes.  Staring.  I do have a complete Shakespeare now, though, which is an improvement on before.

10. Learn to drive

11. Finish all those outlining and design projects I keep promising myself I'm going to finish

I've made a lot of progress in the past bit on the thought-part.  Now I need to do some more research and writing.

12. Stop being a nincompoop and actually figure out how the local bank works

Found a closer branch!  I am now going to attempt to transfer funds into my Credit Union account.  Next steps:
a. Find out where I can do banking with the Credit Union
b. Figure out where ATMs are for both Bank and Credit Union
c. Consolidate accounts at credit union

BONUS: Start seeing a counselor

They wouldn't answer my email.  I don't have a phone to phone them with, either.  Next step: acquire phone.

So, the clear next steps are moving stuff over to the new computer, going home to see my parents (and practice driving, and do sewing things) and getting a phone to replace the old one.  That shouldn't be too hard.

Sign up for driving lessons. Because you put a big nope next to that, and if you can power through this apparently most difficult task the rest will be a breeze.

I was overwhelmed by driving at first too. I started with an automatic so it was easier I think, and learning a manual was pretty swift. Basically, just relax. With an automatic, all you have to do is turn on the car and put it in Drive and it will start going. Steer to avoid hitting stuff and if that fails use the brake. END OF LESSON 1.

Seriously, start in an empty parking lot, like a church during the week. There are more buttons you use on a console controller than you will need at first to drive a car. And it gets super easy. At first I didn't think I'd be able to do anything else while I drive but now I'm making waffles, drinking soda, and making a forum post on the highway.

Well I haven't made much progress, or any, the only thing I've done so far is started on number 5. That one is gonna be a long running one though, as I aim to do a 100 portraits of various people, the first one being me (and hopefully the last one being me too, for comparative purposes). Hopefully this is finished by the end of spring or something, since I need to start on the female one too.

Yeah, the reason why it's NOPE is because I have to go home to see my parents to do it and learn from them.  I'm just not doing a good job of being proactive when I'm there.


On the other hand I will probably start seeing a counselor next week, which is the most terrifying thing on the list for me by far.

1. Get the habit of cleaning own room. Preferably before any...strange growths appear in the rarely seen corners.

2. Learn to organize the self, more. There is nothing as time management (same # of seconds per day per person), but there is self-management.

> Now to shift to priority management. I know how to organize myself, with the problem being that I don't know which to pick first. :X

3. Learn that the world isn't as harsh as you know it and people are more understanding than they first seem--there will be doubt, but that doubt can be dispelled with communication. Learn to help others and motivate them, just as others helped you.

4. Write and draw more if you aspire to be an artist--or even if its your hobby. Write more. Actually, read, write and draw more! {Best work on your RTD for a start...}

5. Aim for that polyglot personal award. Begin taking down that new dialect.

6. Break that fear of doing things because the start is hard. Introduction-phases are always hard. Learn that motivation picks itself up when you start it. Actually, just break fear. Typing all this is already breaking fear of being shy..and stuff.

7. Learn how to cook. ...Better. Preferably use chemistry knowledge if encountering problems.
