((Let's throw out some more questions... to USEC_OFFICER: What are your plans with Symon? Did he come from his quiet home to bash people with a heavy flail for doing bad things, or does he have a greater destiny in mind?

Nadarr: Does his condition give him any benefits, mechanically? I've been reading a AAR of a Werewolf: the Something campaign, and I'm stuck wondering about silver allergies, fast regeneration and warforms.

And yeah, though honestly I don't play Karl safely - I try to get him into melee with just about anything. It just seems to be a side affect of being a defender at low levels - nothing can quite put out enough damage in one round that I can't panic and drink a potion, lay on hands and second wind it all away again.))

((Yeah, Necromancer's final form was pouring out the hurt. But I still hadn't hit the full range of panic options in one round, which is enough to push me from critical all the way to near full, I think.))

((The Necromancer pretty much outclassed things because of a massive HP count which countered the strikers (sort of) and a high damage output of his own. Final boss battle still lasted only 3-4 rounds when you look back. Archuther is going to be a bigger pain because he has high defences, and the only thing worse then him is the template I had to go off of for Aurel's father... And oh god, he's going to put the Necromancer to shame with how long the fight will last))

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

((USEC_OFFICER: What are your plans with Symon? Did he come from his quiet home to bash people with a heavy flail for doing bad things, or does he have a greater destiny in mind?))

((I... Have absolutely no plans for Symon or any real idea where he's going to go. All I know is that he was raised by a bunch of pacifistic monks since he was an orphan, and has been told all of his life that it's his destiny to fight as a holy warrior of Bahamut. Which explains many things about his personality and terrible fighting technique, but nothing about where he's going next. I do know that Symon would eventually like to retire and return back to his monastery, but that's obviously a long-term goal that won't be fulfilled until the game is over.))

((Vampires might need to sleep still? From the Child of the Night section: "Unlike most undead, you do need to sleep." However, Vampires are fully undead otherwise, so magical sleep might be out the window as it doesn't affect undead.

Symon: Well, there's always the epic destiny of whacking one of Tiamat's heads off before retirement. Nothing like bringing back the head of a goddess to decorate the temple with!))

((My estimation is that by level 15-20 we'll have our own land to rule over and engage in international politics. Messing with the gods will have to wait for level 20-30.

My father's the same as me and Highmax said sleep (the spell) doesn't work on him, so I'm expecting it to be the same for me and not to work on me.))

((Maybe Symon will convince Nadarr to convert to the Platinum Dragon by that point? He is shinier and more costly-looking then Tiamat, and nothing about being good says you can't also be a greedy gem-hoarding dragonborn. :P

Hm... since this is taking a little while, hi to ShadowHammer. Anything you want to say about your character while we're chatting? We'll be sure to say 'hi' in character once that pile of enemies has perished.

Hm... which also makes me wonder. Shouldn't we be gaining combat advantage on any orcs trapped between a PC and the wereboar? They were all fighting, and now the orcs are flanked by two hostile enemies.))

((That is always an option, I guess. Though I am open to other ones, I haven't really thought about it too much.))

((I kinda doubt that'll happen. Not because Nadarr wouldn't be make a good follower of Bahamut, but because Charisma is Symon's dump stat. :P))
