((Bah, that sucks highmax. Sadly, I don't know of any other utility then the offline character builder. If you have the zip/rar/whatever it came in, you could try reinstalling it over itself perhaps, if you haven't tried that already.))
((I'm getting an XML 0,0 error and there are no fixes for it apparently.))

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

((Ah, that does indeed suck. I dunno about alternate character sheet thingies - I used mythweavers for my sheet, but that's basically just an online version of the physical paper sheet; you have to manually add in feats and whatnot. Probably not very helpful.))

((I had some ideas on what we could do, but apparently Highmax has limited access to a PC right now. We'll have to wait a bit in any case.

On the other hand, we can discuss our course of action in the game. What do you plan to do with Karl, Hanzoku?))

((It somewhat depends on how the family subplot works out in the short term. Longer term, At Paragon level, I was looking towards Questing Knight, since there's plenty of long-term possibilities for an epic quest arc, given anything involving Orcus, undeath or any other threat to the Raven Queen would make a great quest material for Karl. Looking onward into Epic.... well, there's a certain ring to Demigod of Death, isn't there? Not to mention making Space Marine jokes revolving being an Angel of Death. :P

What's your plan with Aurel?))

((Karl's family issues I'm guessing is on a small scale.

Aurel's family issues are on a national level so I'm expecting my family to be a lot more difficult. Lots of benefits if we succeed though. If everything works out proper, we'll be going up in the world. Lots of Raven Queen stuff so I think Karl will be interested.))

((Probably so. Family heirloom/artifact aside, Karl's family and background aren't meant to be earth-shaking in importance.

Karl is looking forward to exploding at least one vampire. Someone might have to explain to him that, success with an undead burrower aside, the proper application of Turn Undead doesn't have to be internal every time...

So what is the highest rank in Aure's family? If it's Count, I'm allowed to smirk extensively, right?))

((When Highmax and I started discussing Tarmalune, we found out that things were a bit off in terms of government so we homeruled a few things while trying to maintain the original. Even I am not sure of the specific politics. As we get closer I assume Highmax will give more details. I'm not even sure what I'm allowed to say or not from what I do know, so I think I'll leave it to his discretion.

The main opponents are vampires, but most of their henchmen aren't. There's only so many vampires you can explode, Hanzoku  :P. The country isn't exclusively vampires (and even those that are in it are an extremely small minority)))

((That's OK, living enemies are fine too. We'll just rely on Symon to make those ones explode. >_>))

((Sorry for the bigger delay, laptops getting repaired. I'll try to get some more details on Aurel, but until I get my laptop back, nothing can really be done since I'm missing everything...))

((No problem, hardware failures happen. Chatting keeps the world turning until it's back, right?

So, Nadarr and/or Aurel, did you two come up with the backstories for your characters together before the game began, or did it sort of mesh nicely at the start?))

((We came up with our backstories before we started. Decided to be buddies from character-making stage, so no it didn't just mesh. Nadarr was originally going to be more subservient to Aurel than he is, but then I realised that with his intelligence rating and personality it wasn't in his nature, so I changed it.

I must admit, it was hilarious that Nadarr remained alive longer than anyone else but Karl. The last two of the original party, the huge massive hulk of armoured death and the squishy wizard with a habit of ending up near death :P))
