She starts to turn her head as you head off. (FUMBLE) She watches you trip and fall on your face. She walks up to you and shakes her head.

"Now you're following me. I'm flattered, but you don't have to protect me. You may as well come with me."

She extends a hand to help you up.

Symon protests, "I w-w-w-w-w-wasn't f-f-f-f-f-f-following you." Symon hesitates for a second, and then gets up on his own.

"What's this? Are you two out for a night on the town? How sweet."

Search for an abandoned warehouse inside the city and keep an eye out for anybody that seems worthy of interest.

You wander about town. Like Karl, you notice every now and then a crow with strange eyes looking at you and flying off. Never getting too clsoe for you to do anything to it but close enough that it sees you clearly. Not long after you see it though, it flies off.

You look about for an abandoned warehouse, and you find some close to the coast, but they're very rotted.

"What's this? Are you two out for a night on the town? How sweet."

"N-n-n-n-no!" Symon protests.

Thyra laughs as you try to save yourself from embarrassment.

Check whether the area around the warehouse is populated and whether these warehouses can house or hide things.

Afterwards get back into the city and try to find a high-value target (important looking person). If I can't find such a thing, ask around for who the authorities are.

Karl returns to the inn with his bag of purchases on his back. At least they'll be well prepared for any shadow creatures on the way to or infesting the citadel. Along the way, he keeps an eye out for his companions or that strange raven that seemed to be spying on him.

"W-what?" Symon stares at Weston for several seconds, and then his face turns beet-red as he realizes what he was implying. "Oh! N-n-n-n-no!"

"There's no shame in it, you know, and she IS rather pretty. Plus I get the impression that she like you too."

You find an abandoned warehouse, but as you do so, as you're looking about, you notice a crow that has strange eyes and flies off whenever you see it. The warehouse is close to the docks and you check inside to see if there are any nasties. A bit of it is rotted, but there are some parts that can hold for a good while. You turn to leave, and hear a crow caw. Looking around for a sound, you feel something strike you over the head, knocking you out! You wake up god knows how much longer later to immense pain as the sun touches your uncovered face. Smoke comes off as you try and flip your hood back on. You take 15 radiant damage but you'll live. You check your gear. Your gold and everything is still intact but you lost something and gained something. You lost your thieving dagger, but you gained a note. You think the handwriting is familiar but you can't put your finger on it.

In all your many years, you should know by now not to steal from a thief. I have taken back what you have stolen, and I have planted something that will haunt you until you beg for death.

Get up, drink a potion and immediately arcana and perception check for what he planted on me.

((So I get jumped by a mysterious person that took the same dagger I took from Gonzou's corpse? From who have you been stealing?!))

Afterwards return to the apothecary and see if you can use your artisan's tools to pick the lock of the cellar without anybody seeing.
