((Shifting doesn't draw attacks of oppertunity. I'm not certain whether you can shift two squares a turn though.))

((Probably. Though I want to say that you can only shift once per turn for some reason... Definitely something to look up.))

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

((Moving through a fierce battle is dangerous; a creature must be careful to avoid a misstep that gives a foe a chance to strike a telling blow. The way to move safely when enemies are nearby is to shift. When a creature wants to flee, the safest way to do that is to first shift away from an adjacent enemy, then walk or run.

Shift
         Action: Move action.
Movement: The creature moves 1 square. (Some powers and effects allow creatures to move farther than 1 square with a shift.)
No Opportunity Actions Triggered: Unless the description of an effect says otherwise, shifting doesn’t trigger opportunity actions such as opportunity attacks.
Special Movement Modes: A creature can’t shift when using a movement mode that requires it to make a skill check. For instance, if it is climbing, it can’t shift if it has to make an Athletics check to climb. (A creature that has a climb speed can shift while climbing.)

Because a square of difficult terrain costs 1 extra square of movement to enter, a creature can’t normally shift into such a square, unless it is able to shift multiple squares or ignores the effects of difficult terrain.

Doesn't say anything about shifting multiple squares, he can do it))

((It does nothing in the sense that it causes enemies to immediately respawn. The light, on the other hand, seems to be killing them and making them stay dead. Then again, more shadows are still arriving, given the whole B24 in the corner there.))

Karl gets a wild grin on his face as the shadowy creatures expire in droves around them. "Keep it up, Nadarr! Everyone else, keep them off Nadarr unless you can pull off the same trick!"

((Now here's a question for you. What the heck happened to the sunrod I threw out there at the beginning of the fight? It should have killed the monsters that tried to come near it, and it's supposed to be good for four hours of light. It certainty didn't harm any of the group I threw it at, as B9/11/13/15 were all attacking the next round.))

((The ones coming back I think are new ones. Not the dead ones so you could say that we have a SWARM upon us. As for the sunrod, I believe they did take damage but it seems they can stop or lower light somehow. How else is light constantly turning on and off?))

"Nice one, Nadarr, but we need to keep the formation to stick together!"

((I did a check/attack roll and you missed, so I made it overshot. You'll see why it didn't do much probably in the second round))

Shift northeast and move east.
You go next to Nadarr.

B12 begins its turn. He lets out a shriek and the lights begin lower! Karl and Aurel's torches fade to no light, as dose the lantern. Grot and Nadarr's lights begin to fade to low light! Grot's ears hurt from the scream, dealing (4) damage! Any of you without low light or dark vision cannot see the enemies off to the right; they are gone from view.

B15 then rushes out and leaps towards weston! Its attack crits and Weston is prone with the beast slowly sucking out his life force, and Weston takes (4) damage!

Weston begins his turn by taking (5) shadow damage! Weston has 1hp left!
