(Well you'll be happy to know I put in 'miscellaneous tools' on the supply list, so you can sharpen it and gain a point in...metalcrafting?  Just don't screw up and cost us a pick.)

(Oh, the mined out/constructed boxes are 1 meter x 1 meter x 2 meters, because 1 meter high is too small an area to use a pick in, much less walk.)

(Well then, the comment in the quote is even more relevant.)

(Amazing how easily this was forgotten:) [Added to the list who has what items.]

((Why not make the boxes 0.5 x 0.5 x 2 meters?))

(For one thing, the only way to move would be sideways since it is so narrow...)

(Oh, the mined out/constructed boxes are 1 meter x 1 meter x 2 meters, because 1 meter high is too small an area to use a pick in, much less walk.)
((Today has said that the tiles are closer to 2x2x3 meters...and a meter wide isn't particularly spacious either.))

(For that large of a jump, I'd need to up the time required to mine, which would throw quite a few things out of wack, since there has already been mining done.)

(I'd rather not do that, because if that mentality begins to be used more than just once or twice, we'll just reach the point where we say 'Screw the rulebook', and I really, really don't want to do that.)

(As long as it is kept at a reasonable level, is weak when you first get it, and increases slowly (exponential mage factor, but upper limit being around twice or three warrior so as not to be too overpowered), I won't be complaining.  And unless someone gets a slab for necromancy, the most we are likely to see for awhile is Cad's dual sight, or my temporal sight (I see into the past or future at random, but I don't know when what I am seeing will or has happened, and, until I get enough control, whether I am even in the right timestream.)

((Didn't have inspiration :s thank you))
Instead of smoothing the floor, start building a mechanics workshop
