What they're saying.

Also kinda unrelated but C0DA next week.
The link didn't answer my question of What Is C0DA.

C0DA is a 64-page graphic novel by Michael Kirkbride.

C0DA in-universe will be explained in C0DA the graphic novel.

I'm pretty sure it's Sotha Sil's clockwork city, though.

I'd like to point out, that that is a rather ambiguous explanation. So C0DA is unknown? and will be explained something else also called C0DA? what the fuck is zenimax thinking?

...This isn't affiliated with Zenimax. It's Michael Kirkbride.

Also, did you know what "The Elder Scrolls" are before you played any of the games?

Who's "he"?

Quit being snippy and defensive. Plenty of people haven't heard of C0DA, Michael Kirkbride, etc and/or don't appreciate the same thing being posted in like three threads.

...When I asked "who's "he"", I literally did not know who "he" was. It was a two word question. I wasn't being snappish then.

Also, my earlier explanation was pretty bad. C0DA answers many of the mysteries presented in Morrowind. It's kind of what Kirkbride's been leading up to for the last 12 years.

If it's anything like his previous works, there will be more mysteries than answers.

Fabulae Obscurae are difficult to understand.

There are mysteries. Like what C0DA is.

Anyway actually related to ESO:

The NDA is lifted and there's some good lore in there.

Also, Aurbic Enigma 4: The Elden Tree is the most thorough in-game book on the Towers and their Stones so far. Of course, its only competition in-game is the Book of the Dragonborn. It's still probably the easiest source to point people to we have, though, since Nu-Mantia Intercept is a slightly difficult read and the Greg Keyes novels are... novels.

Gotta say, the big thing that's turning me off ESO right now is actually not lore-related, which is surprising. Rather, it's the $60 + $15/mo price tag. Ahahaha, nope.

About friggin' time. So seems there's another Beta weekend and this time it's possible to bring a friend.

Man, I'm loving this game but the game-breaking bugs made me rage quit and I don't even want to touch the game until they get addressed.

What bugs? The game will periodically get stuck when you exit conversation, store or crafting interfaces and the only fix is to out. So basically, doing quests, using merchants or trying to craft will force you to log in and out repeatedly. These SAME bugs were in the last beta weekend so I dunno what the devs have been up to.

edit: found out that a fix for this is to use the /reloadui command. Deeerp.

The launcher didn't download or update anything since last beta weekend. We're playing the same client version as before. There's an updated version that they showed off, but they're not giving it to us as it needs "more testing". Funny how they lift the NDA, and then withhold stuff from us. Only a month to launch; they're really cutting it close with this testing.

Anyhow, any one up for grouping/guilding? I'm a level 8 in the Ebonheart Pact.

I know the feeling.  Two lab reports to write, plus homework.  And next week is finals.

If only they could have waited one more week...

$50 purchase fee + $15 monthly fee and collector's edition-only classes (e.g. Imperial playable in any factions)? No thanks.

Even EVE does not cost that much.

Just wait til it goes F2P.

IIRC, you can also enter and exit the mail screen to fix it, which is much faster.
