So how good/terrible is this?
Well, their login queue music is quite soothing. And the wait time keeps going up, which I think is the leveling mechanism.

That's actually an amusing idea.

Login: The Queue-ing. Proprietary HDR bloom effects make the splash screens come alive.

Also, error 301 has rejoined my party. I think it wants me to join its guild.

Logins are temporarily shut down. They should say on the forums (requires a separate account) when they're back up.

I"m still hitting 301, BUT I was only invited for the stress test. And I just got an email urging me to remember that it's happening tomorrow. Somehow. I might have fallen through a time-warp.

They're encouraging everyone to log in Saturday at noon EST to break their 'global beta record'. That's what you read.

Huh. You're right; just checked back in and I can suddenly log in and make a character. Time to be Khajiit! ...Khajiit with a human voice and a dozen different choices of goatee, apparently, but Khajiit nonetheless.

C0DA is a 64-page graphic novel by Michael Kirkbride.

C0DA in-universe will be explained in C0DA the graphic novel.

I'm pretty sure it's Sotha Sil's clockwork city, though.

The entire map is pre-explored for you with all locations marked...
Almost, but not completely true. Major locations are marked, but there are two mechanics (soul shards and treasure maps) where the goals are unmarked.
Having played the beta now, I need to revise this statement. It's like Skyrim. The map starts mostly empty but for terrain, icons show up as you get closer to the corresponding locations, and switch to 'Discovered' once you're on top of the location. Even on the newbie islands there are locations that you aren't sent to as part of any quest but which still count towards that island's exploration achievement, and in one case there was a bit of vertical trickery that wasn't obvious from afar.

Edit: I've noticed player guilds are in and free to make through the UI. Anyone willing to start one? (I would, except I'll be out for most of tomorrow.) At the very least, we could use it to trade racial crafting materials. Guilds should carry over to the next beta along with our characters.
