Yes, because A. Contessa has access to weapons requiring multiple powers* on a regular basis, and B. weapons that cut through anything are so effective against Endbringers, eh Armsmaster?

*Okay, in this case I guess one power and a lot of heavy machinery or something could have cut it, if Behemoth didn't destroy the machinery.

What makes you think that Contessa could have defeated Scion?
Remember how Scion was beaten? Even every major cape in every world attacking with everything at once merely angered Scion. They had to get psychological on Scion to win, and I don't think Contessa could have pulled that off.

Remember also, scion used his "i win button" to get psychological on eidolon, whats so far fetched about contessa doing the same? Also if her power was unblocked she would have had plenty of time to have the dimensional ram builtand knew who to have it built by.

A. And this now assumes that Contessa has access to capes with the right powers.
B. Armsmaster's nano-thorns are just as effective on high densities as low. The reason it failed at the core is that the core (and the surrounding inner layers) basically point a big middle finger at the laws of physics and such. As for the other bit...well, unless we see it slice through the core, I think it's fair to say that the frozen piano wire net would be significantly worse than the nano-thorns at cutting through Leviathan. They have more potential force, but that doesn't help when you are trying to destroy something indestructible.

As to the first: Because Contessa can't magically make arms and stuff appear out of nothing. Also because Scion was only vulnerable to the psychological victory after discovering Eden, by which time Contessa had stopped bothering trying to use her power on Scion and was "safely" away from the fight.
As to the second: That requires the first, and who cares, since it fired perfectly well without her.

Phalanx: [6v6] An exciting tussle among the toughest capes on-site and the largest Terror. Capes are killed, but Naga is halted and even hurt, a bit.
[4v4][3] Another falls to the explosion.

Archers, fire. [6v1] ...Well, then. The big guns--Electric, Imber, Mover and Thrower, Wunderwaffe, etc--manage to deal severe damage to Naga. It won't give up, though.
[2v6] Sadly, a swipe of water takes a number of them down. [1] Still more fall to the devastation caused by Team Bastion.

The Bastion capes begin to work on minimizing the damage Naga does. [1v4] Nicely done, guys. Nicely done. Mensura's power interacts badly with one of Prefab's devices' space-warping storage things, and everything falls apart.
[1-1v3] The resulting explosion kills many of the Bastion capes.

The Zergs send their minions--Concussive and a couple new fake capes, duplicates of Replican, a couple good-sized snakes surrounded by electricity, several little goblin-like creatures, and a half-dozen two-foot-tall winged bugmen with weird lizardlike tails created by Summoner--towards Naga, hoping to hinder or at least distract the massive beast.
[1-1v6] Not one survives.
[6+1v5][4+2] The team itself is untouched by either Naga or the devastation, due to their location.
