It has one. You're on it.

Why would you need a shipyard when you build and maintain no ships and do not use commercial sea trade?

Point taken, though it could use one for a small fishing fleet...

We also hate the elves too, remember? :P
Genesis doesn't hate elves. In the new world order, there will be no racism. Orcs and goblins will live side by side with dwarves, etc.

Also, I thought about the stronghold, and I have a few options:
1. Giant mass of seaweed. Basically an island made of kelp. Cost: One really powerful druid.
2. Underground base. Tunnels in the rocks below the ocean floor. Cost: Around 30k.
3. A giant submarine. Cost: Probably too much.
4. Anything floating while being supported by ballons, possibly made of whale leather.

Bah, what do you think we are, some nature-loving pansies? BAH I say!
No, cost-conscious pirates!
(It's cheaper to enchant coral with watery stuff.)

1. Uninspiring, and kinda crappy. A barren desert island would be better than a mass of sargasso.
2. How would we get into or out of it? How would our workers get down there?
3. Neat idea, but why make it a giant submarine? Something floating would be a lot cheaper.
4. Meh. Not the worst, not the best.

That moment when you realize that quarterstaves are free no matter what they are made of. That includes darkwood, mundane crystal and deep crystal, and maybe mithral. It wasn't very clear on that front. I'm rocking four different staves now. One for every occasion.

Actually, they do have prices for non-standard wood. And you can't have one made out of mithral as well.

Not true. The augments for pricing darkwood staves and the like are additive, not multiplicative. That logic applies just as well to masterwork or even magical quarterstaves.

As I asked in the IC thread:

What manner of critter is our crew made of?
How many crewmembers do we have?

Huh. I was going off of this chart, and thought no price entered meant no price. This is what I get for not reading deep enough.

That's sorta true Immateral, but ALL special materials can only be made into masterwork gear.

Oh. That would explain it.

Oh, DnD, why must you have so many obscure rules?

Why must Dwarf Fortress have horrible UI? It's a major part of the experience.

Out of idle curiosity, what rules do you use for characters that wish to get a divine rank of 0? Worshiper count? God-killing?
