Sorry bout that. Fixed it now though. I had it in the spread-sheet. Just forgot to transfer it.

Pose dramatically. Allow my beatific smile to grace my brethren in arms and my noble enemies. Defend.

Against what?

Both of your enemies are parrying.

Against the wind, of course. It's his old arch-nemesis, always messing with his hair like that.

Seriously, though, his club is literally incapable of dealing damage through full armor. The damage roll has possible values 0, 1, 2, 3; full armor decreases that damage by 3, the damage ends up in the negatives no matter what he rolls. He might as well save Nerjin the work of rolling for his obviously unsuccesful action if he chooses to idle.

Urist Mc Dwarf: attack Brewmaster.

Handsome defends all things beautiful. Since there is no "do nothing" command.

I don't know ... floss? Attempt to dazzle with a bright display of my pearly whites?

A problem I hope to solve in the next iteration of the game by changing armor to a health bonus instead of a damage reduction.

Yes, but if he ends up being the only one left, he won't be able to do anything anyway, and the game will just drag on. If he attacks, he can be killed by a counterattack, and who wins epwon't change, but if A wins, it won't take 30 turns of him defending until they can get lucky.

But... but... but he's too pretty to die!

In any case, I'm pretty sure Nerjin will interfere should a stalemate-like situation arise. Stalemates are not particularly interesting.

I'll probably just call it a route if the odds become 2:1. So in theory the game will either wrap up at the next 'death' or the one after.

Quick question: Do you guys want an actual update if nothing at all happens or should I just reset the turn? I haven't had to do it yet but it looks like, just from the weapons being used and the armors worn, that I might have quite a few turns of "He hit him but nope.avi, meanwhile the Handsome Stranger defends handsomely."

I don't mind doing it but I get the idea that you guys might get bored from such short updates.

I suggest rolling until something changes, then posting, and tossing in a reference to the number of rounds it took.

Also, I suppose I could Handsomely waltz off the battlefield into the sunset, to create legends elsewhere, while the credits slowly roll.

May I hijack the thread for a moment?

Post-Apo Fodder is a spin-off of Medieval Fodder, set in wasteland future. I've taken on my old rules and updated htem for the extra sci-fi flavor.

It is however different from Nerjin's MF which I hope he will continue to develop and we might have two Fodders going on with different rulesets (and within different time periods, too!) in the same time :)
