Report "Jumping. While getting shot. Joy. Whos ready to patch holes?" Edgar jokes as he unslings his SPIW. He approaches the back of the ship with caution, wind gusting at his face as he awaits someone to jump with.
"Alright, Edgar, let's go." Swiftly, her parachute secure, Kinson taps Edgar on the shoulder and motioned to the doors. Seconds after he went, she jumped as well, plummeting into the turbulent skies.
"
Guess it's a good a time as any to see how well these work. I'll go last; you go ahead. I need to grab my drone anyway." Denia seems weirdly calm in this situation, almost too calm. Her usual snark is also absent. Probably not a good sign of her current mental state. She taps a few times on her drone controller, and it's screen shuts down. Just a few moments later, a hunter killer drone flies through the ship's hole and into her hand.
Henry gathers his weapons and utters a quick prayer.
"Sir, where exactly will we be landing? Any sort of support at all? Or just stranded?" he asks the General.
"We'll be landing in the Krieg jungle, there shouldn't be many enemies there." he explains hastily as he straps his parachute on.
Henry lets out a sigh before hesitantly leaping off the edge of the ship and into the air in hopes that he'll survive.
"Let's go, Hauberich." Mortimer indifferently says as he leaps off through the open doors. Denia follows him swiftly and jumps as well.

The sound of powerful winds tear and rip through the air -- each person is near their partners, save for Henry whom is alone. The soldiers fly around the sky before activating parachutes -- except Denia's parachute doesn't properly activate, instead releasing a ripped sheet of a parachute.
"Uhhh, General!?" she says in a suppressed panic towards the General.
"Wha- OH SHIT!" he exclaims in the turbulent winds as he takes sight of her torn parachute. He moves his wrist up to his mouth and speaks.
"Felix, we have a squad member with a damaged parachute!" Mortimer barks out in everyone's radio.
"Likely damaged due to the combustion of the missile -- I don't have my jetpack with me, James." Felix says indifferently.
"Do you have any suggestions!?" "You are never creative, James. Simply let her use your parachute, it can handle the weight."With that, Mortimer retracts his wrist and turns his head to Denia.
"We can share mine, ditch it and grab onto me!" he shouts through the loud winds. Denia nods, her hair blowing in the wind. She moves over to Mortimer and grabs onto his arm. Mortimer's parachute blasts out it's chute and he comes to a stop. With Denia tenaciously grasping, she eases to a slow fall with the parachute. She and Mortimer let out a sigh of relief as they look down to the green jungle -- it seems as if the squad is going to be separated once they land.

The soldiers land in the dense jungle, managing to avoid landing in the colossal trees. They each land separately with their partners, except Henry. Henry finds himself landed in a thick mass of bushes, surrounding by miles and miles of dense trees and shrubbery. He shoots his head around, unaware of what's going on.
"S$12- whaQ 1( ^!4O s!tan?" the voice of the General comes on, heavily obscured by static.
"O%C connec$a Qs be%&n interfe@3." the static voice of Felix says through the radio.
Suddenly, Henry hears rustling in the bushes. Vocoded shouts are bellowed in the distance -- not of his squad, but of Xerxes soldiers.

Brigadier General James Mortimer is a man with short, dark hair. He bears a high-tech eye-patch which allows certain infrared imaging. He favors the color grey and maroon. He has a long slash scar across his cheek. He has brown eyes, and looks around 43 years of age.

Tall (6'1) with noticeable muscle tone. Fair skin; her burn marks have been removed by surgery, but traces of them can still be found upon close observation. Natural hair and eye color are red and hazel respectively, but the color of both change frequently.
Too erratic to be described simply, Vetra at least seems happy enough for herself, even if no one else can quite comprehend her.
Biography: Vetra was found in an orphanage at a young age, her parentage unknown but assumed to have been killed during the fighting of the Tegorowitz Civil War. In addition to the psychological trauma of the war, it also seems to have resulted in physical damage to her brain. In most cases, the damage would have resulted in disability or impairment, but not in her case.
