Whenever I see mention of 'moving cities' I can only think of
Spoiler: traction cities (click to show/hide)

Big petrol-powered monstrousities that tear up the soil beneath them and are physical embodiments of destruction and waste.
Not some namby-pamby magic floating rocks.
