"The Bay12 bump."

Yeah it all makes sense. Especially for all the "I'm going to make Dwarf Fortress, but better!" games that promote on these boards.

Yeah http://www.deathroadtocanada.com/paypal.html

Cash that out ASAP when your kickstarter is done. http://www.giantbomb.com/articles/crowdfunding-s-secret-enemy-is-paypal/1100-4743/

I will, always heard that people have problems with their money being held. Though the Paypal really didn't make much, anyway.

I've been getting updates in my email.

Here's the content of their last (February 8th) email:

The artists, GP and Camus, are actually running low on stuff to do right now. We need to sit back and figure out more art asset requests. Though, I think a lot of new things we want to put into the game will be thought of naturally, once we get into backer testing. Really looking forward to that.

Paul's working on some template sharing stuff for the nodes that we use to build locations. Doing this would let us share rooms between different building types more easily. I'm mostly focusing on the Choose Your Own Adventure writing at the moment.

We're using some of the Kickstarter funds tagged for promotion to make a nice trailer for the game. It's going to be made by our friends at Imagos Films, who also directed the recent trailer for Jazzpunk. You can check out what they made for Jazzpunk right here.

The trailer will have a stunt dog. It will drive a car. I am not joking. Here's the dog that was selected:

They released a small alpha/demo of the game.

In it you arrive on a scene in a car, can get out, run around, enter some buildings and find some goods.

Oh, and be torn apart by no less than 80 zombies on screen.

Seriously, most zombie games try to strike a balance between manueverability and horde size. This game? You're knee deep in swarms from the minute you get out of the car until you (maybe) make it back. Demo ends if you get in the car and drive away.

Not a lot else to say but it's nice to put hands on the game finally. If things stay the way they are now, you'll have earned the right to call yourself a survivor if you can make it to Canada.

Seems the bulk of their communications is through Kickstarter using the mailing list. Perhaps that's why you're not receiving updates.
