"Seem we were late to the party. Allright people, search the place and help Matilda and her guys if they need healing. Onwards!"

"Great. I'm glad we're all here. This if for you." Matilda passed a bag to Leo.

"Yonn's men found this in the imperial's ship holds. I guess the imperials won't need it anymore."

"Yonn also will have some people take a smaller ship and get you north... I guess this is a goodbye."

Renault got back to the others, still lame, as seemingly even Yonn's mages couldn't help him. He looked around for Leo and was glad the priest had to deal with Matilda now.

"Sheila, dear, you have a moment?"

"You're staying here, then? Forgive me, but your father wasn't very specific on the details of what happened after we escorted you here..."

"To be honest? We did more than he ever planned. We have Kretos for ourselves, with people looking for brighter future under Yonn's lead. And we killed an Imperial Commander, something that haven't happened in sixty or seventy years. The Empire will be in shock. We will be openly rebelling and hopefully, we will get some of the mainlanders to join us. I will be able to wipe out the Lionhearts and the Church and make the Empire a better place."

"I remember your oath to my father. Keep your people together and sail somewhere safe. Maybe to Masalla, the people there and Duke Sepin never bother themselves with world politics. In a month or so, I might need your help again. Stay low, make some money... enjoy yourselves."

"Do you... do you love that Leo? He is an imperial priest, and I do not approve. What will you do about him? His vows, and teachings, his loyalties? He might sell your ties to me to save his skin. Miguel spoke to no one in particular, pulling his gauntlets off his hands. Glorious.

After having handed the seal to Sheila...

Fezz was looking at the photon book, slightly sad. It as beaten, torn, well used, and partially stained with several things he'd rather not think too hard about. It had served him well and inspired him to walk down this path of magic. He couldn't bring himself to toss it, even if it no longer harbored any power in it. The words were still legible, instructions on the spell and the various facets of it and its kind. He tucked the tome away.

Shortly after, he went to see if Grifen was alright. He wasn't sure what happened after the leader was disposed of, but he was told the nomad took a nasty shot.

Alec, who was quietly shadowing near Matilda, chimed in.
: "Open rebellion, huh? I suppose staying here could be a... viable option. But are you sure you don't want to- or at least have someone head back to Mireos and investigate Eul's claims about- well, your father? I heard things about the Captain, he's not one to exaggerate or lie."

Wandering over to where Matilda, Alec, and Leo were talking, Ciera listened in for a few moments, before asking,

"Wait so... What about me?"

She was supposed to be part of Duke Yonn's guard, but then he'd sent her with this group. And she liked this group a lot, but she didn't want to be abandoning her duties...

Julius wiped the blood off his face as he strolled over to the others.

"Well that went well I think-"

He was interrupted by his foot stepping on his cloak, producing a tremendous ripping noise as it was torn off at a cut that had been made by an arrow that had just barely grazed him earlier.

"Oh dragon dammit."
