: "Ah, sorry. I can't exactly say I was expecting that to happen..."
: "But really, 'Music Man'? It just seems so... drab. To be honest I would be more partial to 'Charming Conniver' or 'Subtle Swindler' or somesuch."

Ciera giggled.

"'Subtle Swindler', huh? I dunno. I could call you Super Spy. Or Beanpole. You're so tall after all. Hmm, yeah, maybe I'll go with that one. Beanpole."

: "..."
Alec raised his arm to check its length self-consciously before ruffling his hand through his hair with a resigned expression.
: "Music Man it is."

Ciera giggled even more and gave Alec a somewhat teasing salute.

"Yes sir, Mr Music Man!"

Cyra to 11-11

All around, the fighting commenced. Rebel against Loyalist, in her eyes was clear. No uniform or pattern on one side compared, neither seemed winning and it all came down to this.

She just needed to get a bit closer to give some kind of inspiration--it was the least she could do after the relative freedom which was just had.

Miguel had mentioned something about seeing what the enemies had on them when they died, and while Efa didn't much like the idea, she could see why one would look. Accordingly, she absentmindedly passed Sheila her vulnerary and talisman, before taking out her bow.
:"Here goes. . ."
17, 5, trade Vuln and talisman to Sheila, and shoot Rotebart.

Efa shot the Commodore in the guts, but the other arrow missed and plinked off the wall.

"Wretch! How dare you! I am an Imperial Commodore!!"

Hit: 118-10-49 = 59 => 85
Hit roll: 24, hit!
Damage: 43+2-14 = 31dmg

Efa strikes again!
Hit: 118-10-49 = 59 => 85
Hit roll: 91, miss!

~~Enemies Turn!~~

"Stop these two!!" The marksmen made short work of Efa, but Sheila prevailed, dodging the shot.

Hit roll: 4, hit!
Damage: 24-12 = 12dmg

But Sheila did collapse - snoring aloud.

"Oh, need help with this door?" *CRASH*

Matilda moved onwards to the main building.

~~Player Turn 9~~

Distant trumpet and neighing of horses can be heard from the south!

Cyra to 11-7

A few seconds ago, the fighting had been fierce with Cyra thinking that there was a stalemate in the battle.
A few seconds later, the victor was obvious. She only had one question for the nearest mounted soldier.

"Hey there. I'm Cyra. Cyra Hayes. Could I get a lift towards the front? That's a real good work y'all did there."

Grifen rides to (11,6), grabs Cyra, and cantos to (14,6) to await barding.

: "Heya. Sorry I couldn't give ya a lift earlier, I already had that older fella as a passenger."
