The Pile of Spitter Goo fizzles out.
A few seconds of silence followed Damon and Jim’s discussion as the Survivors all silently considered what to do next.
“Well that truck won’t wait forever kids. We better get going. Follow me.”
“Well beats staying here with the dead guys.” Damon shrugged.
“Yeah, I wouldn’t be caught dead doing it.” Mark quipped.
“Uh… That wasn’t very good.” Clair stated as she gripped her shotgun tightly.
“Yeah… I know. Just kinda… Said it without thinking.” Mark admitted.
“Uh guys… I think I only have six shots left. Like total…”
“Me too!” Clair stated excitedly.
“We’re all low kiddo. We might have to resort to swinging our guns if this keeps up.”
“Well at least this hallway’s clear right?” Mark stated trying to keep the group psyched up.
“Is that a picture of a house?” Damon asked examining the wall directly beside Ugly Jim.
“Uh yeah. Has some sorta cross in it.”
“Hey! That’s the sign for a safe-room!” Ali gasped in joy.
“Really? How do you know?”
“Were none of you paying attention when we were heading into the safe room earlier? There was a big painting like this on the floor.”
“Well whatever. Let’s just follow this sign!” Damon shouted as he fantasized about finally being safe again.

Name: Clair Greenwoods
Physical Appearance: A red haired woman with blue eyes and a slender build. She wears a straight jacket(sleeves are ripped to a more manageable length) and jeans made for a lot of wear.
Personality: Depends. You got Clair, the normal, shy one. She has a defeatist outlook. You got Amy, a blood knight who seek out fights and taunts everyone, even her allies. You got Sue, the cloud cuckoo. And finally Uriel, who believe herself above everyone else.
Backround: She been in an asylum for the last 15 years(is now 26) and she think that she got the keys out of the place from a now rekilled zombie, but it was Amy in charge at the time so who knows.

Physical Appearance: 18 Year old freshman. Has curly brown hair, a skinny build, and an average face. Hes wearing track pants, a white T-shirt, and green running shoes.
Personality: They try to keep morale up without going on with elaborate jokes. They are rather easy going until someone gets downed, then he’s stone colded berserker.
Backround: Marks was just getting settled into his apartment near his college when the outbreak hit. He grabbed a pistol and a few mags off of a dead cop. He ran into the other survivors along the way and is helping them get out of the infected areas best he can.
Preferred Difficulty: Normal or Advanced, if its the deciding vote, normal.

Name: Ugly Jim
Physical Appearance: A huge, muscle-bound brute, Jim has a face not even a mother could love. Tiny, bloodshot eyes glare out from a lumpy, scarred face. The huge, mishapen nose was clearly broken multiple times and set badly. His hair is brown and shaved short. Jim wears a cheap suit that hangs on his huge frame, looking ridiculous.
Personality: Jim is a really, really nice guy. He worked hard and earnestly in an office, when he slowly earned their respect and like. He spent his spare time working in a charity shop and a soup kitchen, helping the less fortunate get back on their feet. Shy and self-concious, he thinks everyone should be nicer to each other.
Backround: When the infection hit his city proper, he was taking a long walk, upset at horrible comments from a group of teenagers. While he was walking, he walked in the outbreak without realizing. Through sheer chance, he walked through without notice, until he found a discarded pistol. Planning to get rid of the thing (it would be dangerous to leave lying about), he looked around properly, and saw what was going on around him. Frightened, he ran through the city streets, until he ran into the other survivors.
Preferred Difficulty: Advanced.

Physical Appearance: A slim and attractive 21 year old female. Her chestnut brown hair would reach her shoulders if it wasn't in a ponytail.
She wears jeans and a white T-shirt. Black Trainers.
Personality: Ali is scared. Terrified. This was not what she expected to happen. She looks out for her friends, and is authorative when NOT in combat. Once the fighting starts, she tends to panic a little and misses the bigger picture to lead.
Backround: Ali grew up wanting to travel. She worked hard in school for her grades, and then learned languages in university to travel as an interpreter and a side teacher. She enjoyed her life, always smiling and enjoying the sunny places. When the infection hit, she was devastated, seeing her students turn, her friends lose contact with her and everything that made her smile is gone.
Preferred Difficulty: Normal. Can always amp it up if it gets too easy...

Name: Damon Berkins
Physical Appearance: Tall and slim, with a tan on his face and arms, and very pale everywhere else. Wears glasses, a sweatshirt, and jeans, with running shoes.
Personality: Gets hungry a lot, somewhat of a devil's advocate, very smart, overanalyzes, poor social skills, good planning and organizing skills, still a teenager(17).
Backround: Damon was going to a convention when the outbreak hit. After an initial bewilderment and frustration at humanity for being stupid enough to let this happen, and the fact that it did happen despite being incredibly unrealistic, he got over it when his parent's friends were bitten. Being from a geek family, they took no chances, and the military friend, Robert, took headshots at the infected but not-dead. They survived for a while until Damon was the only one left, many of his emotions deadened by the trauma.

It occurs to me that even with 5 people you’re pretty low on ammo. So hopefully the balance feels fair right now. I sent a PM to Kashyyk earlier to confirm he was still interested. He said he was so I’ll run down how the “Transition Phase” works.
Basically when you enter the safe-room I’ll inform you of a few randomly selected stats and who did the best [Jeffrey will be included in this though he’ll be at the bottom of each chart] and then the difficulty will be set to “Advanced”
Then the game proceeds as normal. Remember no ammo is expended while in the safe-room.
Also, for this one only I went with crossing out the squares you can’t see. I’ll do “?”s again next time because I figured out a way to do them quickly and not take about ten minutes Post production.
