((To be honest, I don't think the new demons would know that there was a fight due to 1. not being there to see it, 2. no one in this group has been injured and conny only let light balls loose. At most that would give a few scuff marks, and 3. The frozen demons can't exactly tell the demons anything due to being unable to do anything.))

Merrick heard some talking about an aisle over so he closed his book with his finger marking the page as he walked over to introduce himself. He waved to the two girls, "Hey there. I don't think I've met- Oh wait,  I remember you actually Alice,  good to see you again! Who's your friend here though? I'm Merrick, nice to meet you." He extends a hand to her.
